I am a huge Sony fan and I have to say I am fucking sick of PSN. Sony you have extra money from moving everyone toward PS+ and you now have a larger market share. Buy some fucking servers! I am sure someone is going to tell me it isn't that easy but I don't care. Get God King Cerny to whip up a solution. It is one thing when it is Christmas morning but it is 2:00 to 3:00 pm on a Thursday for a Beta. If you can't handle that then the system is shit sorry.

I finally got the store to load up after the calm blue screen. Now I cant get into Bungie's site due to the PSN/SEN log in. Just email they keys yo!

Imagine you are entering a stadium with 100,000 seats

1,000,000 are cramming into the stadium and filling those 100,000 seats.

Well, once the capacity is reached, in comes the crew to add more seats. But, instead of people waiting for the seats to be put in to fill, they are jumping onto each other in the original 100,000 seats trying to get seated. Eventually, the weight of 10 people in each seat causes the seat to break.

That is basically what happens during these mad rushes for any major product you can download and play online lol.

Not a perfect analogy, but you get my point.

When you know in advance that a million people are coming, because you literally sold people a million tickets, shouldn't you have those million seats ready to go the moment you start letting people in?

I had the same problem.

Exit the store, go back in - go to games > then click on the destiny beta ad banner on the right.

Hammer away until it lets you select the download option.

Same issue I'm having. By hammer away do you mean repeatedly exit and re-enter the beta page?

Gotta go to bungie's site. They don't email them.

They said they would, but I guess that is being delayed... so they are still going to send them out. Currently the only way to access your codes is thru Bungie.net

Keep refreshing the library, I was there once.

Go to Library, if it's not there double tap PS.

Then double tap to get back in. (Rinse and Repeat).

a) i'm used to this by now. Never has a huge thing launched dependent on an online service and not had problems in my experience.
b) i just kept spamming the psn store on my ps4 and got to eventually work. its downloading now. Wasn't that much stress lol

I do still understand the desire to have this work smooth and perfect, don't get me wrong.

The PSN log-in/authentication system is probably what's a mess due to overloaded queries.

Same here, I have it online, it shows up under my MEDIA, but when I go to my PS4 Download List within the PSN Store on my PS4, it says "No Content" and nothing is there.



I dont know how to get it to download on my PS4.

Well, the EU preload trick ended up not working at all for me. Tried restoring licenses on my US and EU accounts, ended up with a locked icon on the Destiny tile. Fucked. Couldn't verify license. Tried absolutely everything. Just deleted it.

I finally got the splash screen downloaded and now it's installing. So this is the second time I'm downloading the beta.
