It plays a good bit like halo. That's a good thing. Wish the ADS didn't exist though. I hate ADS, it restricts player movement.

Well if anything were ever going to make my point for me, this would be it.

Had a pretty humbling experience with crucible tonight... I've learned the folly of playing late at night with randoms. Got fucked over worse than I have since the very first multiplayer game I played when I was twelve... ;_;

This is where I'm at. It's been a while since I've been this bad at a game.

Still yet to find a damn green Auto Rifle under level 9. Did find a nice Rocket Launcher for PvE..maxed blast radius, homing and 2 shot magazine, projectile moves crazy slow though so useless in PvP.

I love the little things in this..found a group of roaming Pike riders, killed them and stole a Pike, played around a little then drove it all the way back to the starting area and gave it to a low level dude before returning to Orbit.

Loving this game, just failed that lvl 6 strike, it was hard.

Only criticism where this could be the best game ever is it needs 60 FPS.

In the middle of a fire fight fast moving opponents do seem to shift sideways a bit quick at 30 FPS.

Pretty much this. I'm the only one in my friends group with both consoles, so that means i'm getting the XBOX ONE version. Hoping and praying its not a screen tearing mess next week. I actually hope Bungie will rethink 1080p and drop back to 900p for launch if it will give us a rock solid 30fps and vsync.

Seriously, if Bungie would have just stored the characters centrally like an MMO, i would be picking up both the PS4 and XBOX ONE versions.

Glad to see I am not the only one in this boat. Owning both consoles has its advantages and don't get me wrong, XB1 is my favorite. However, when it comes to Destiny having the exclusive PS4 content it is pretty lame knowing you are getting the version with less content and worse graphics.

I would have bought both versions too if it was the same character. Same issue I had with Diablo. No way was I getting Diablo on consoles since all my gear and my character would not transfer over.

So in this game is there an easy way to tell when a weapon drops? Maybe I am just not noticing it.

You should see a green or white orb float and settle on the ground, that's your drop. It can't be picked up by anyone else, you after the fire fight, have a look around in case you missed it.

They can be confused for ammo drops sometimes, especially the white (regular) ones.

Green orbs are pretty hard to miss though.

You have to visit the Crucible guy in the tower and get your crucible pass after you get to level 5.

Yeah the cryptarch is very dodgy in the beta, even uncommon and rare items turn out to be regular items after decrypting them.

I'm really enjoying it. Feels like Halo, which is a good thing, Bungie delivers once again. I never played Borderlands (I've heard that they're somewhat similar...?), so Destiny is a totally new kind of experience for me. Great soundtrack and the graphics are surprisingly good. I really like the art style.

I guess it's time to sell my copy of Battlefield 4, lol. I haven't played it in months anyway... My first BF and probably the last.

I'm thankful that they allow you to switch the fire button to R1. That was one of my biggest complaints with the beta. I can't stand being forced to shoot with R2.

I've done that level 6 instance thing 3x and that chest has never been there. I'm always the first person down there too.

Also my map doesn't update my chests. I'm still 3/5 even after getting the chest off the coast and I definitely had not picked that one up before.

I'm normally on the receiving end of all this. Any tips for PVP? I need to improve a fair bit as I'm normally near the bottom of the leaderboards. Only played 6 matches so far though.

Loot is private. It's yours.

Everybody gets their own, but you have to manually walk over it to get it. No magnet like Ratchet and Clank sadly.
