The alpha level cap was 8. I hope it's higher in the beta, so I can equip some rares. My bank was full of rare gear I couldn't use D:

Cosmetic, no stat bonuses. That said, Exo is the best race.

Most welcome. And yes, the potential for abuse could be an issue as we can see with the Amazon thing people mention. I'm almost wondering if that's part of the reason why all the PS4 limited/Ghost editions sold out so quick. That or the thirst is just that real for this game.

Amazing thread for an amazing game!! I really enjoyed my time with the alpha, for me it's certainly one of the best fps in recent years so far.

I have this game pre-ordered on psn so I can fire it up anytime I get an invite . Let it be known that DestinyGAF will be exploring the lands and kicking ass and taking names in the Crucible. I can't wait to play this!!!

Unfortunately no, I donated my ps3 after finishing Dark Souls 2 on NG+ and was left with my PC and PS4 till the later stopped playing digital games. The worst part is that all my games except KZ:SF are digital downloads :-\

Just pre-order on Amazon, they won't charge you but instead send you a Destiny beta key almost instantly which you can then redeem on Bungie.net.

After that, you can join us to wait for the platform selection.
