Download finished on my ps4

I'm ready

Curious to also try the game on X1 since i still have no idea where I'll buy it in the end

pre-load is a cruel mistress, it's there, ready, waiting to be played, but alas you can't....

Also when the $*^% is the digital guardian version coming to playstation store UK

I want to know price before I decide ( have a ghost edition pre ordered but not sure what console I want it on) although Destiny being my only physical game is fine, it'll remain in my disc drive forever anyway!!!

I just love the descriptions of the classes on www.destinythegame.com

TITAN: ARMORED ENGINE OF WAR - We like to think they are our faceless knights, protecting us from our countless enemies. But their power and resolve gives them the air of rising Gods.

WARLOCK: WIELDER OF ARCANE POWER - Warlocks are not passive scholars of the unknown. These are mystic warriors, capable of incredible acts of devastation.

HUNTER: MASTER OF THE FRONTIER - Cunning and ruthless, they prize the undiscovered and prepare for the unexpected, channeling their powers by intuition and gut instinct.

Cunning and ruthless. Prize the undiscovered. Intuition and gut instinct.

If it wasn't for the Hunters, nothing would get done. Warlocks are neck deep in books and hadoukens, and Titans are bench pressing each other.

Riiight. While Hunters are "prizing the undiscovered" and "preparing for the unexpected", Warlocks are committing "incredible acts of devastation" with those books and hadoukens.

I'll take "incredible acts of devastation", thanks.

Typical viewpoint from the reckless thrill seeking Hunters. You adrenaline junkies like to throw caution to the wind and just jump headfirst into sticky situations.

Luck is preparation meeting oportunity, not mindless bravado. Books and hadoukens are necessary.

The Titans, well they're just here to make a wall of bodies and slow enemy progress. :P

Warlocks neckbearded awkward fellows bound within a trench-coat, protecting their thinning hair with a pinstripe fedora hat. They seek to aid all damsels in distress using their sparkly virgin powers whilst chanting M'lady to deadly force, these sun light deprived basement dwellers, will do anything to capture a base, or a heart of a princess.

Fixed ;)

Ohhhh, so only non Warlocks fail at quoting. Got it!

Edit: I realize this looks ironic, but notice that I quoted when his quote was messed up, which resulted in my quote being messed up.

Pfft, okay friends, sure. Just be careful not to trip over your magic books when looking up how to do a feng shui bomb or whatever.

Hunters will be out there doing the little things, y'know like blazing the trail and grabbing space by its throat.

Well I mean...have fun with the throat when it's all that's left after Warlocks disintegrate the parts that matter.

In a dilemma..I want to preload the beta but I have a physical copy preordered. I thought about getting a preorder from PSN as I'm tempted to have the game ready for me to play at 3AM (EST) on September 9th, but man I love having physical copies of my games. I also still have to figure out if I should jump on a ghost edition as soon as it becomes available again.

My only solace is that Thursday is but a few days away.

If you're really worried about cancelling digital,
it's super super easy to cancel the order after on PS store/App.

All you need to do is:
Sign in to PSN
go to account management.
You'll need to sign in again here.
Go To Transaction History,
Find Destiny, it'll be listed under a £0.00 or $0.00
Select "Cancel Pre-Order."
DONE! All cancelled!

Really wish they would put the Digital Guardian up on UK psn so i can see pre-order and start beta download :(

Got standard disc on pre-order but im going digital with this and TLOU i think.

Eyeshadow is a level 12 unlock with the Hunter class. Purse snatching is rumored at level 18.

Yeah, Vault of Glass on Venus is the only raid in the game for launch, and is the only content you'll be able to have a fireteam of six instead of the normal three.

...and I'm guessing it'll be the place where the Warlocks will really shine. It sounds like the radiance ability will be an absolute must in there. Can't wait for the hunters and titans to come begging for some of the healing powers of the mystic warriors when the shit hits the fan.

Hunter. Or you could just do one & the other at the same time since you can have more than one character. Just play them out and see which one you enjoy the most. You're play style wont lie to you(`Д´)

This is the most sound advice really. If you didn't get to play the Alpha, try them all out come the Beta.

Classes sure looked weird when they started thinking about designs. The Warlock helmet looks like the face of a Selkath from KotOR. And the Titan reminds me of a Big Daddy from Bioshock.

Too bad they dropped the "mini-guns", I've seen them in many concept pictures.

Hasn't been confirmed as the only Raid at launch. We won't know until full release.

Since Destiny borrows a lot from the MMO genre, raid dungeons are typically one at a time and gated content. Glass Vault is supposed to be the most difficult content in the game so I wouldn't expect any other raids at launch.

They'll probably release one raid dungeon per expansion.

You think those are weird; here they are in the early concept stages:
