I did the mistake of buying green weapons and armor from the stores and now I'm poor as shit. I'm gonna get weapons and armor the way you're meant to and do the strike mission over and over again lol. Because I want to save money so I can buy cool arm bands.

Man disconnected during the end of a strike mission the game doesn't even let you back in... wtf.
Still haven't been able to manage a series of strikes due to people leaving or the shitty servers, no wonder they said the raid was hard :/

So Strike missions are to go-to mode for loot collecting?
Am much as I love Diablo spewing loot all over my face, most ends up trash, so I can do without that.
Is there still that same feeling when something great drops?
I'm going to farm the Moon's strike for blue gear (Rare?) tonight to see what I get. Also, yeah, I get excited getting loot. Nothing beats getting a legendary item in D3 though.
There should be way more loot in Destiny IMO.

It didn't use any of the awesome NPC's in the Tower, really. They sure as hell better be expanded upon in expansions.

I just got the Shingen-E last night which has an extended clip and ricocheting bullets over the C version.

There is a DestinyGaf clan thread which should solve your needs. And they are crazy efficient in adding new members ; )
Unfortunately it looks like you need to manually add all of the people as friend in PSN as the Clan features on the Bingie website does not appear to be incorporated into the game.

Me and my buddy did it last night. I was level 12, he was 14. We had a random with us who wasn't very good. He didn't die too often, but he didn't kill much either (the type of guy that uses a fusion rifle at sniper rifle distance)
Kept getting overwhelmed at the last segment with the boss, more so by all the sword knights and wizards and ohk'ing yellow corrupted thralls then anything. We realized after a few wipes that we should probably start talking to our random and not be in a party chat, but as soon as we did and started explaining a strategy he quit.
We hesitantly went to try the fight one more time with just the two of us and ended up beating it first try.
Hopefully to get the trophies that require completing a strike and raid with clanmembers only.
oh, well i was hoping for somthing that woulnt make me late for work, but ill try it (when i finally get a decent auto rifle)

Precisely. Though, with all the things Destiny does to streamline co-op and what it makes needlessly annoying (leveling up a separate subclass), I can't say there's no more to it.

Or Titans are just better players than Hunters and Warlocks.

After maxing out all three classes in the beta and now seeing some of the max level stuff on other people, I'm kind of disappointed in the level of customization. Most things just look like recolors of lower level items with an extra screw/flair added on. Too early to judge really but reach seemed to have more customization for your character.

Got remote play going today, so I'll be putting the office wifi through its paces to see if I can hop around in the Tower at least.
Made it to level 9 last night, was kinda surprised that not much has changed from a leveling speed standpoint. I also haven't left Earth yet, just been indulging in what the Beta basically was. My Warlock's gear is so sad though, haven't managed to snag any noteworthy Scout Rifles yet. Think I may do the strike a couple of times tonight. I'll post on here when I do to see if anyone would like to join me.

I'm sure this has been asked several times already, but I wouldn't even know how to search for the answer in this thread: did they ever implement any sort of PVE matchmaking in the full release? I lost interest in the beta really quickly because of how unbelievably cumbersome it was to try and group up with strangers doing the same missions.
