I honestly believe there's a fair incentive for the average player. 5 wins, especially if you get the buffs and get lucky is pretty reasonable for the most part, and the chest piece is pretty awesome.

oh I'm not saying it's not worth it, just saying it will take luck in matchmaking and good friends or else it's a bloodbath. I thought I was decent at pvp (usually in top 3 in most crucible matches) but ToO has shaken my confidence.

GG to all the people who got to Mercury today. I shall try to flail my way to it tomorrow...and the next day.....and the next day....

The Cryptarch's Bane
I'd jump in but I don't really have any primaries that would be good for ToO yet except the TLW I got when HoW dropped (which doesn't have any experience yet).

Let's play tomorrow though because I need someone to chill and drink with me through ToO.
lol

lt was talking about doing it tomorrow night. would be a fun group

9-1 twice. :(
Should have bought the free loss on the second one..

I'm up for one more run if someone needs help or is going for the Mercury.

You do, yeah...

You're not joining a, you know, better team? :p

The reward is definitely there at this point, but I kinda disagree. I think the average player is going to get frustrated early and often, I know I have, and I consider myself an average-to-good PvP player - my k/d ratio in this game is usually somewhere between 1.1-1.3.

You only have to get five wins, but most people can't get there. I got there (to 6 actually) but only through the heavy use of passage coins, which are being awarded in spades to only the high ranking players while the people who are struggling are feeling like their time is wasted. It feels incongruous to the general helpfulness and large-scale teamwork that I love about this game (and the people here).

I can respect and am intrigued by the mode and can recognize it as a serious perk for the good PvPers, but I seriously doubt the staying power after people keep losing and getting nothing. I might be wrong though.

Attempting the last step of the Pocket Infinity bounty solo right now- what an awful Nightfall to be stuck trying this on. Shrieker kills don't count, so they're kind of a waste of my time, but kill me on my way in more often than they don't.

Only got 6 engrams to get my ram and hawk. Wonder if I should bother to get the Titan one now. Have 190+ motes left.

And I felt bad about buying 5 and not getting it...

I spent about 25 and didn't get it T_T

Converted all my shards, energies, SCs, and motes to engrams.

Now I just have a bunch of exotic shards T_T

I wonder how long it will be until there's another Cash 4 Crota situation, with pro-PVPers offering to carry scrubs to Mercury for money?
There already was a guy offering $25 to be carried a few pages back.

What's the best vendor launcher for PvP? Willing to reroll for awesome!
Nothing comes close to vanilla Steel Oracle.

I think New Monarchy Admonisher has nasty base stats. Dead Orbit launcher has great perks out the box tho.

What a horrible fucking map to have Trials of Osiris on. The team that spawns outside is at a huge disadvantage right off the bat. Almost no cover out there and the team inside already has positioning on you. Every time we've played the inside team has won handily.
Feel like they are pretty balanced tbh. I feel like the mode definitely favors whoever rushes to a given side and occupies mid. On most occasions when we where outside team I'd run inside and hold the right hall on the stairs.

When I was inside team I'd run to the same passage but I'd either stay in the inner bridge or last room of that hall.

Is the PoE level 35 hard to do an a 33 character or should I wait..

A 365 Horn doesn't care about levels. A hunter 33 with 365 horn is good for 35. You can still help do damage on Skolas and when and if there is a need for dismantling the bladedancer hunter is the best for that,

Blegh. I'll try trials again later. Who can I pay for that sweet 9-0

Is anyone looking to do PoE 35? I've got a 34 warlock that needs it done (no gjally).

Right on that got my morale up now to find someone who who is willing to do it
