It's the "only answer" the same way G'horn is the only answer to Aetheon or Crota. A requirement by people that are too afraid of their own and their teammates skills, and are overcompensating.

Any slightly above average player will be able to do this fight. G'horn or not.

It's simply poor game design to make G'horn the best answer to literally every PvE fight in the game. With my suggestion, the arc burns on players would at least force you to try different weapons/different strategies.

Now we are going to have the same old stupid discrimination in LFG parties where if you don't have a G'horn you won't get invited.

I really don't like these changes.

More burns just means more restrictions though.

If you waited long enough, you would have probably seen

Sol week
LFG G'horn only

Arc week
LFG 4th Horseman/Found Verdict only

Void week
LFG (LoL Bungie only has 1 void exotic, nvm we got this)

Really though, who are you talking about discriminating? Because I don't think I've ever seen a single person here do that.

What's the best roll for maching guns?

I know Aggressive Ballistics is important. Didn't have it on my Jolder's. Rerolled for Aggressive. Now it takes one less headshot to drop guardians.

Usually you want things like Rodeo or Counterbalance, but that thing looks like it's stability is amazing out of the box.

Jolder's needs Field Scout. Don't know about BTRD.

And Crowd Control is always great for the last perk.

Yours looks like it might be pretty close to done already.

You guys think bungie is gonna say something about this on the weekly update?
that's a tough call. they'd have to admit they screwed up again, but they don't seem averse to admitting when they're wrong. i think before ToO this weekend, if they can't find a way to patch it, they must say something.

Update is already out, no mention.

Bungie probably doesn't want to advertise it until they have a better way of understanding/tracking it.

Is it really that bad? I can't imagine getting hit by swarm grenades all that often, especially in 3v3.

I'm gonna have to go see this for myself in crucible later.

This. You would have to get pretty exposed and an easy target to consistently hit with those nades. If you're taken out, then your team is down one on a 3v3 match up which is an obvious significant disadvantage.

That, or pushing a fix the weekend before E3 is super hard. I'd let them slide--that doesn't sound fun.

E3 is all about marketing and PR. The regular dev/patch team will still be at their desks doing their regular 9-5.

E3 should have no impact on it.

Check out my response to him a few posts down.

Removing the burns is going to make the Skolas fight harder not easier. I'm actually fine with that.

The problem with that is Skolas' health is higher than most bosses in order to work with the burn modifier. Removing the burns and not tuning his health wouldn't make it a harder fight, it would just make him even more of a bullet sponge than he already is.

Now if they want to remove the burns and also fix his HP accordingly, then I'm all for that.

Okay I've sent FR's out to everyone who was interested in HM Crota/HM VoG. (I think)

If I've missed you out send me a FR - Souldestroyer199

Probably start in about an hour or so if everyone is cool with that as a few people aren't online/available right now?

Thats exactly what they said they were doing in the Weekly Update.

Exactly.

Inspect the other team. If you see a hunter, check his grenades and his gear. If sketchy, play ranged and let him make mistakes. I'm not too worried; still needs to be fixed, though.
