Bungie is bringing the "sucessor" of the Gjallarhorn to E3 and will show a model of it on the Sony presser. I'm sure of it.
I'm really curious/anxious to see just exactly what this is.

Thanks sploatee for the run, didn't talk much (gf is sleeping in the other room) but that was good fun hearing you and Skele7on-the-surprise-guest chatting and cussing.
After getting unstable in my party a few weeks ago, I'm slowly ticking boxes on my "run a PoE with the Destiny stars" list... ^^

Destiny is the first game where I really care about how my character looks. I excitedly used my lone armor core to get the boots from Variks....and holy shit are those ugly. Sharded and used my lone etheric light on my existing, not grotesque boots.

What's sad with the HoW armor sets is that we are forced to ask... which class? :/
Hunter. One leg looked like it had giant warts on it, there was this ugly pattern running up the torso, and the other leg didn't match.
Sure.
I like most of the Hunter armor, the Warlock helmet, and the Titan chest, but the rest is not my cup of tea.
Biggest pet peeve with armor in Destiny? Swatches of color that ignore shaders. I'm looking at you, Warlock PoE chest piece.
Yep, I see, had to equip them to run my PoE 34 a few minutes ago. Didn't even have the heavy ammo perk unlocked on it, to make it even worse.
I find the titan legs to be even uglier: it's like I have fishnets, but only on one leg...
Sad. I hope the first part of the elder cipher is a high percentage drop from the queens chest.

I really want the Lord of Wolves. I love shotties, and I hear it's a PVE beast.
But I'm more in PVP right now, and I know that the Bow would inspire me to become the sniper I need to be.

ewww, the titan CE armor had the same prblem. it had red parts that would not change with any shader. so gross with Glowhoo, as a matter of fact. no titan armor looked good with glowhoo

I usually dont go for alot of extras in games like that. I mostly play them for story and setting. But the vendor armors were so ugly I had to go fetch the special wicther armor. stuck with the feline gear.
Destiny armor is very hit and miss. I love alot of the vendor armor. some of it, especially the warlocks has a very old school star wars feel to it. special armors like CE and the new POE. are just to oversaturated with shit on them its hard to appreciate the designs.

I haven't been keeping up, is Bungie going to be part of the Sony presser? If so I'm afraid that is going to mean more 'exclusive' content which I would be unthrilled about. (But still interested what's in the box whatsinthebox.gif)
Also basically all exotics. The only thing that Glasshouse goes with is Glowhoo, but that is like being okay with smearing yourself with feces because it matches the dirt you have on your face.

I want shaders to be able to be applied to weapons (Destiny 2 hype train starts now).
34 PoE was actually pretty fun this week... the wizards were kind of a hassle, but each stage was manageable.
I don't think the random LFG group I found wiped at all.
Picked up my first EL and hit 34 on all my guys.. got my 2nd gally from the Nfall, too. The only exotic I won't shard. I'll just leave it on my kid's Warlock.
On a side note: what's the best roll for the Her Mercy hand cannon? I have a lot of glimmer and weapon parts... I guess I should start rerolling some of these PoS weapons to burn thru my inventory.

I'm looking at you both, Heart of Praxic Fire and Starfire Protocol. Especially when the Voidfang Vestments can be changed via Shader.

I haven't finished upgrading the Lord of Wolves but I'm finding it more fun to play around with then Queenbreaker's Bow. The bow is a better PVP weapon for sure but the Shotgun is just so much fun to run around with.
