When does ToO start? I wanna hear stories of people exploiting the bug.

With the power of PS4Share, cheaters are gonna be mad easy to report.

I read up about that glitch now... Did Bungie utter a warning? Really wished they did. Banning "cheaters" afterwards won't give me my time back if this thing errupts tonight.

Looking to hit up the Nightfall or a 32 PoE tonight (or both) when I get home tonight after work. That is if anyone will bring a novice to these two activities. I currently have both a 32 Titan and Hunter I'm looking to run through.

PSN: DisheveledZen

Anything I should know before attempting either of these? Or any specific equipment I should bring?
Probably won't be able to help tonight, but I can help with a few advices on the loadout! :)
The nightfall this week is solar burn and void burn, so you'll obviously want solar and void weapons. If you have gjallarhorn, that's your exotic pick, otherwise try to bring a void or solar sniper rifle, which will be useful against the spider and taniks.
This week's PoE 32 is one round of cabals, and the rest of fallens: you'll want a good arc shotgun for those, because of the shielded captains. I don't know which class you're playing, but in PoE, as a general rule, titans should go defender for the bubble, warlocks should play sunsinger for the revive, and hunters should choose bladedancer for the invisibility (for dismantling mines or easy revives on your teammates).

As a personal opinion, I think this week's PoE 32 is probably easier than the nightfall, depending on the gear you and your teammates have access to. The nightfall is more "gear dependant" this week than PoE 32.

Yeah, I hope so. I really wonder why Bungie didn't mention it in the weekly update. Maybe they just haven't gotten word of it yet.

Might not be sense in bringing more attention to it, if they couldn't fix it in time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got Purifier Robes from Xur's engram today!!

I would like to thank Hawkian for taking me through corta last night, I think it's a really interesting raid and I had a lot of fun learning what to do.Now that I know what to do I can go try for that fabled blackhammer on my other characters.

The swarm grenade super exploit really isn't that great to be honest. I've been trying it out in PvP with cover of the exile + ahamkaras spine, which both have the Ashes to Asset perk and while it is glorious when it works, most of the time doesn't because the enemy either runs away from the grenade, you die before any of the traking missiles hit the target or you just place the grenade badly. Also it requires a more aggresive playstyle or just incredible grenade throwing skills.
The tripmine grenade is still the better choice imo and while it definitly needs to be patched, I don't think it will break ToO.

Or maybe I just suck at it :p

So far behind against a fireteam, until one guy starts to teabag me after slide shotgunning.
Felt so good when we destroyed thin after we were 5000 behind, DGAF power!

In PvP the ability to be invis all the time seems like it was unintended and it feels like cheating the same as the scatter grenade GG exploit.
I guess, but invisibility isn't even that useful imo. They're easy to spot, though going off radar is a good perk. Blade dancers will probably get more mileage out of Hungering Blade though in most cases.

Lol just having fun

Wish we could do more wafering

That was fun

I'm going to play tonight and have not played since Sat night. You around?

I know.

I might be around later tonight but not sure.
Probably going to binge on OITNB Season 3.

This is what I noticed as well while playing yesterday. I think people are freaking out unnecessarily about it.

They are changing the skolas encounter next week, removing the burns, using other modifiers (god hopefully no lightswitch) reducing his HP, and tweaking the adds.

CB: We want the Skolas encounter to be challenging and require teamwork, only in a more predictable way that doesn’t feel cheap. To accomplish this, we’re making the following changes to Round 6 of the Skolas Challenge:

New Modifier combinations (Arc, Void, and Solar Burn will be removed)
Boss health is reduced (to compensate for the lack of burn)
Minions will spawn at predictable health intervals
Minor adjustment to the unit makeup of the combatant waves

I feel indifferent either way, don't really feel like running POE anymore. Just enough to get my exotic bounties done and then I'm done with HoW PVE.

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!

So... wait... you are telling me that 3 gjallerhorns or gtfo wasn't the intended mechanic?

Where's that post I made a couple weeks back about a no burn Skolas fight having Grounded, Lightswitch, Trickle, and one more modifier.

Cool, you proved my point. "Grind enough and weapon parts won't be an issue."

When I play, I'm either doing NF, PoE or Trials. None of those give out blue or green weapons at a high rate.
Oh well you're in luck! If that's all you do you'll be getting very few bounties so your weapons will be upgraded at a pace commensurate to your weapon part intake.

No need for snark dude. I too wish I could buy weapon parts - re rolling has me broke. But ascending an exotic for 25 is by no means a lot, which is the point I originally contested. Whatever tho.

Am I the only one disappointed that they're removing the burns from Skolas?

Pretty much the only thing that makes that encounter hard. Void burn was a joke and you could breeze through it which will be the same as no burn at all. I know there's new modifiers and stuff... but I liked that it required you to have certain gear each week.

Anyone starting a PoE 35 round about now? Want to get my hunter through. (No mic atm but shouldn't be an issue, wasn't for my warlock run).

The burns made it so that you could dps the boss in minutes, and not even have to deal with the servitor phase of the battle, let alone the mine phase.

It's not going to be any different after the fix lol. They're lowering his health too. People are just going to use black hammers to achieve the same thing

Anyone willing to run Poe 35 with a skolas newbie? I am having a hell of a time finding a group when I am upfront about not trying the lv35 version yet. I have all the weapons that are requested - max gjallarhorn, max vision of confluence, max black hammer.

arc burn made map movement punishing. solar burn made skolas unpredictable and gjallarhorn overvalued

wont miss them, although i also liked the gear requirement changing every week
