The Ram. There isn't really anything else I'm trying to get far as weapons go other than the Blackhammer. A Messenger from ToO would be nice as well. But should I even try to get Blackhammer since they're nerfing it anyway?

i got the Ram as my first drop from Xur engram after HoW came out. i'm too lucky with him.

BH was my first Crota drop and i've rarely used it. Great for Strikes but i hardly play them nowadays anyway. The nerf is totally gonna make the god-tier perk a POS.

Messenger is worth it if you play PVP a lot. can't say it's great for PVE.

Xur had helmet engrams for 2 weeks in a row - didn't luck out with The Ram?

Blackhammer is great for bosses and solar burns, so yes, definitely worth getting.

Who knows, they might change their minds on the nerf...

No. RNGesus gave me Celestial Nighthawk with one engram. But when I ask for The Ram he slaps my hand and says no.

This is the exact same roll I have on my LDR. Double Down and Final Round. Middle tree Perfect Balance for PvE and Snapshot for PvP. So good.

Mine is kinda shitty for PvP, beast PvE weapon though:

- Surplus
- Perfect Balance/Send It
- Firefly.

Can't complain about it tbh. I had a void one too if I remember correctly but I deleted it by accident ;_;

I'm on the same boat as Kurumi, over 300 engrams over the past couple of weeks have only given me a better Obsidian Mind. No luck on the Ram. And NF gave me a Give Take Equation and a primary legendary engram, the usual.

Tried to do PvP over 4G after doing the NFs. While PvE is manageable, PvP is not. The network is fast enough in bandwidth speed, but the latency kills it. Most of the time the game didn't register my shots. Just my luck that this week Brother Vance is selling Warlock boots I'd like to try getting.

C'mon Xur, bring the goods. The Ram and another The Last Word please.

When TLW is sold there's always this rush of people using it without upgrading in the Crucible and failing horribly. So many easy kills. I'd be happy if it's the weapon Xur brings this weekend.

indeed, doesnt get good until all the perks are filled in. i've decided to get used to using the Hawkmoon now. quite a departure in feel to the TLW. can't be quite as aggressive with it.

i think in the end, i might have each class master each exotic HC for fun.

Titan with Thorn
Hunter with Hawkmoon
Warlock with TLW

I earned enough motes in the last week to buy 5 helmet engrams during the weekend.
It gave me, in this order:
Celestial nighthawk, eternal warrior, skull of akmhara, obsidian mind, the glasshouse......and the ram.

Damn, and if that happens I won't be able to capitalize on it due to the laggy cell connection. Still, what matters to me the most at the moment is getting a TLW for my alt. It's the only exotic HC my alt is missing.

Hawkmoon is awesome, but after using TLW it feels kinda sluggish to use. Definitely needs a different approach.

You get the same ship in a different color from your first Skolas kill if you wanna save that glimmer.

All three nightfalls done! along with a poe or two and so close to the last reset as well, This may be the fastest I've got them done throughout my time in destiny.

You can use imgur to host your images, and you should quote them if they are too big. :)

Re forging weapons is all the casino I can take. Probably spent 50k glimmer until my Ash Factory was perfect. Have a Aggressive/Shot Package/Reinforced Matador but will go after Kneepads soon. Need weapon parts.

god do i need weapon parts.

yeah, rerolling weapons is fucking nuts. drives me kind of crazy, but i cant stop doing it. it's also a tedious process, as well as costing a fuckload of mats. at first i didnt realize that you can just press the start button while you're in the gunsmith menu to view the weapon that you rerolled until a friend clued me in, but i realized yesterday that if you view a friends inventory as they are rerolling you can quickly see the perks that get rolled before they even have a chance to get into the menu to view the item.

i spent a few minutes watching a friend reroll yesterday. it was amusing.

One of the things I am really lacking is weapon parts, any advice/farming tips for that?

I used to equip weapons I was going to dismantle when handing in bounties, so I could upgrade them one node and get more parts when dismantled, but now I always have weapons I actually want to upgrade all ready equipped.
