Welp.

Smh.

I'd get mad but I doubt very many people purchased these to give to Nepal, that was just a bonus.

EDIT: Damnit I don't want to be up here.

Its not my fault that bungie likes to stream during normal working hours.

something happened to the VHS. It got all mangled up inside the VCR-y thing. Mistakes were made.

It may have been the grilled cheese sandwich left inside. I'm not sure.

It seems to be intact. Wait..... This isn't Destiny.

I may have taped over it with a porn movie....

Oh. So that is why this vhs is filled with werid porn.

Just kinda putting feelers out at the moment. Would anyone want to run PoE 32 and then 34 with me. Could be later tonight or tomorrow, all at once or split between days. Just trying to plan my path to 34 as it's one of my last remaining pre-TTK goals.

Ok - catching up on what I missed. Not sure how I feel about the unfusion method. It seems like it could potentially become a serious grind. Aside from that, I think all the changes are pretty solid.

Bungie actually designed The Taken King's three new subclasses as far back as the release of the original Destiny.

Cut content? I'm so surprised!

Star Wars Episodes I-VI were all part of the same original story and then split up into different movies and released separately. Lucas is a con artist.

They should have all been in the original movie!

Bringing a knife to a gun fight?

Interesting addition. Evading hunter rolling out of their smoke grenade with a sword will be badass, especially if they are teathered.

Infusion is just the OG damage upgrade bubbles that use legendary weapons instead of ass mats, minus the bubbles.

there's something incredibly disgusting about that
I don't see anything inherently immoral with a free market transaction with perfect information between its participants.

They made a donation that helped real people. They got a bonus for their help. Some people value that bonus more than they do, and they're given a chance to act on their preference and cost/benefit profile by purchasing at whatever price they voluntarily agree upon.

I don't see anything ugly here. Not like they were poaching a product which had limited supply.

You can't call this a "bonus" when it greatly outweighs the charity. The charity is the bonus.

We are not on speaking terms. First you take away my personal space and then you try to throw logic at me. smh

Something I remembered reading about in the Game Informer magazine article is specifically about Saint-14 automatically having its signature perk unlocked.

I need to read that part again but unless that means that regular Year 1 exotics where there is not a Year 2 version will now all auto-unlock their signature perk, then this seems to at least indicate that Saint-14 is one of the remade Year 2 Titan armor pieces.

No, they literally said we could go ahead and dismantle that stuff on the stream. Now Datto is saying the opposite.

Yes. When they were going over the emblem, shader, and ship collections etc, one of the three guys (not Deej) said we could go ahead and dismantle any of those things today and they would still be in the collection on 9/15.

Hah; then it's even worse.

"Bungie" said one thing on the stream (delete ships/shaders/emblems), said something else on Twitter after (don't delete anything), Luke said delete Y1 Legendary (did he specify weapons or armor?), and Datto is agreeing with the Twitter.

They really need to get their messaging across. I'm sure it's complicated, but they need to have one guy sit down and write a definitive "safe to delete" list. The amount of stuff they leave ambiguous or wrong is just weird.

What time are you thinking? I could hammer out both tonight probably.

PSN same as GAF.

Cool. Even clearer then, we can ignore the donation and let's assume they literally just bought a cosmetic.

They bought _____, which had unlimited supply, for a given price. Some people value it at a higher price than what they paid for it. They're given a chance to act on their preference. The seller is satisfied because he'd rather have US$150 in pocket than a shader. The buyer, presumably, is satisfied because he'd rather have that shader than US$150 in pocket - otherwise he wouldn't close the transaction.

Both parties openly reach a price where they're receiving something they value more than what they're parting with.

I fail to see a problem here.

Don't bring capitalism in here. It doesn't play well.

Have you guys seen these celebrants of oryx? Saw one outside the war mind

I saw them outside the Warmind when I was doing ghosts recently. There were 2-3 yellow bar knights that took a LOT of damage; at least one was "Celebrant of Oryx". Nothing special happened, just a particularly tough yellow bar knight.

Edit: yeah, I thought they'd always been there. I hadn't remembered the "Oryx" bit before, though.

Your math checks out but unfortunately I am more than a calculator. I'm not even arguing it's problematic though, just that the charity angle of the Nepal stuff is kind of bullshit.

So when Thunderlord becomes a solar weapon with the year 2 upgrade will it be called Thunderlord still? Will Drizzay make the Thunderlord post before it's too late? Tune in the DGAF to find out.

sunbreaker sounds so OP

In general I've heard all the new supers are not as good as the older offensive supers. I don't think they wanted to totally upset the balance by introducing new OP classes. People will surely find great uses and combos for the classes, but as for the supers themselves at face value they are all weaker than existing supers. Titan hammer has to be direct hit or doesn't kill, Stormcaller is more DoT, and bow isn't really offensive.

I just saw that part and he says "when you have emblems and stuff clutter up your vault and you have this, you can then safely delete your emblems etc..."

So he means AFTER the collections are introduced you can then delete emblems and shaders and such in your vault because they will be stored in your collections.

Well it doesn't get much better than a Golden Gun.
