Really surprised at the people who got invited to this Redbull thing. I mean there's a sweaty tournament a few hours later which is unofficial and what not but will have significantly better players. I mean how does Bungie organize a tourney without inviting the actual top guys? Don't get it.

Some of these pro players either don't have enough viewers, or don't really speak positive about Destiny PvP. Some of them don't really have filters, which I think is a concern for Bungie.

Bungie only interacts with and acknowledges the e-celebs of the community.

Btw just read Poshy saying there's a lot of confusion about the CM tourney later cause apparently a lot of guys can't make it last minute

Solo'ed nightfall, came back to the tower. "Disconnected from destiny servers"
If i'd disconnected a few minutes earlier the rage would've been epic.

So, i've been using universal remote+vestian dynasty in my patrols and i kind of like it.
Also i noticed that when i shoot hobgoblins with the VD they don't use their solar shield.

Aris is the most beloved Tekken player and commentator of FGC games in general in the community but because all he talks about is hot dogs and smelling flowers they changed him last minute to another commentator in yesterday's Pokken Tournament invitational at the Pokemon World Championships going on right now.
For companies image is everything. Aris wears nothing but a black shirt 24/7 and looks like Hagrid, that's a no no on a big stage like that.

When Nintendo threw their World Championships and that one Smash 4 tournament before it came out they didn't exactly go for the very best players either.

Lol considering who the target audience for these events are, I don't think a black shirt wearing Hagrid would harm the perception of the event at all.

There will be exactly zero casuals on a streamed competitive tourney teasing 2.0 weapon balance, Res Bull host or not :p

We saw New Monarchy armor has Solar defense buffs. I'm gonna take a wild guess and assume Arc and Void buffs will be locked behind Dead Orbit and Future War Cult.

It'd be wise to be at least rank 2 on each character with every faction. This way you won't have to grind that rep in the future when you actually want something from them.

I'm really hoping for rotating stock this time around. Doesn't make sense to me to rotate factions.

This stream is a promo event for the purpose of selling copies of TTK to more people. So they are going to pick the most popular players on Twitch and YouTube with the most up beat positive profiles. That's just the way it goes with these things unfortunately. This isn't a "best of the best e-sports competition"

Thats the best part of their streams though, the glorious unfiltered banter. If they have to censor themselves to get invited to these things then that would really suck.

Btw, if you don't want to have to deal with the crappy chat on the redbull stream Poshy is hosting it on his channel so just go and chat there instead.

They don't fit the "Destiny Community" nonsense that has evolved. Hence why you have people• like BYF at the forefront of it
