Man, I keep forgetting what the Patrol symbols stand for. The only one I can remember is Assassination missions, because it only rarely pops up.Anyone got a good overview of what the others are?
Funny you mention this, I was gonna do a "mini-guide" like Hawkian to answer this very question.
That's why I still don't understand why there's no trade system. I get Bungie's intentions, but the reasoning is pretty dumb, especially in the long term of the game. Someone could have used that, and I trashed it for mats. I could have easily traded it, like for that fucking badass roman soldier looking Titan helm...Hell I would have given it away to people I normally play with that could have used it if there was an option to do so.
Some day.

What's generally regarded the best way to tackle the end game?
Got to level 20 but no further yet and only have 1 item with light. I've been playing a lot of Crucible as a.) I enjoy it and b.) it looks the quickest way to get legendary armour.
Should I be spending more time grinding the Strikes?
Crucible is possibly the worst competitive multiplayer I've ever played. Straight garbage.
Honestly, I've gotten more Legendary drops from blue engrams than purple ones.

There's an explanation in the OP.
Personally I don't think it's a good title. There were much better titles thrown out in the old OT.
That's how it goes. Look at the bounty description. Does it say "Kill Xyor?" That's the final step you need to do.
Yeah, that's normal, there's still another part to it.

Losing much?
Maybe I'm not getting the mechanics down. I have mostly legendary gear, I notice that my team mates are having an easier time nawing through higher level foes, while I struggle. For example when fighting yellow bar enemies at higher levels it takes me a lot of work, but I see my comrades using weapons and taking out 30% where I'm taking out maybe 15%, even taking advantage of weak points. What the hell is going on?I know SOME of my weapons are not fully powered up, maybe half way or so before it starts getting you to grind for the damn materials. Are fully upgraded weapons (compared to mid upgraded) going to make that much of a difference in the end?

Shotgun charges worse than Gears of War.

It's beautiful.
Crucible is possibly the worst competitive multiplayer I've ever played. Straight garbage.
Horrendously unbalanced, super spamming, and special weapons appear to be the only viable guns. Shotgun charges worse than Gears of War.

The old Halo OTs were also filled with obnoxious in-jokes. Just par for the course with Bungie fans I think.Yeah, if you have to explain the title to the people who post in the thread, then it's probably too obscure.

Compass: go scan something or stand in an area to survey it
Triangle: kill enemies and pick up their drops
4 diamonds (best I can describe it): kill enemies
Star: assassination
Yeah, if you have to explain the title to the people who post in the thread, then it's probably too obscure.
@legendaryengram
The reason you cant find me is Ive taken to hanging out with Destinys story. And no one has found that either.
Honestly, I've gotten more Legendary drops from blue engrams than purple ones.
Is anyone having connection issues on PS4? I just got the game today and have been booted twice now in the last 20 minutes...
Get Good is the easy response to this.
I am curious though, how much crucible have you played?
got a exotic bounty, Seems easy.

Agreed. New title is horrible.Yeah, if you have to explain the title to the people who post in the thread, then it's probably too obscure.
Bounties, bounties and more bounties. Everything else has a random outcome and is a waste of time.
I had no idea, thanks for this.
I finished off the Striker subclass but I still haven't received a Exotic bounty yet. anyone know how to get this thing to pop?
Damage types?
Are you matching up your type of damage to the enemies shields?
For instance, I play a Striker titan, so I have a grenade and melee arc damage for blue shields.
I have a Sol Shotgun for Orange Shields.
I have a Void Machine gun for Purple shields.
I can knock a full blue shield off a Fallen Capt pretty regularly with one grenade. I can also take down most Wizard shields with a single shotgun blast.
Reverend Rahool is just to your right as you zone into the tower, he always accepts donations for the church of RNGesus.
2-3 in five games and around a 1.5 k/D it's just frustrating
If anyone on Xbox One needs someone for the weekly strike I'm going on for a bit now.
Gamer tag is Lasagna For 1
The shotgun is a bit buggy but garbage may be a little extreme. The Scout rifle is pretty good for taking out snipers if you don't have one.
Special aren't OP because everyone has one and if it's used right it can be advantageous to anyone.
The only complaint I have about Crucible is the damn vehicles, I don't find that they are properly balanced.
OT yet having the same old and bad mistake.
Warlock is the powerful class.
Sunsinger sub-class is the most powerful killer machine I always saw in Destiny... it SUPER is like dropping non-stop NOVA-BOMB over the victims.
