Man, I keep forgetting what the Patrol symbols stand for. The only one I can remember is Assassination missions, because it only rarely pops up.Anyone got a good overview of what the others are?

What's generally regarded the best way to tackle the end game?
Got to level 20 but no further yet and only have 1 item with light. I've been playing a lot of Crucible as a.) I enjoy it and b.) it looks the quickest way to get legendary armour.
Should I be spending more time grinding the Strikes?

That is my biggest thing. It would be fair to have a trade/gift system with in a clan or a selected number of players/friends.

Honestly, I've gotten more Legendary drops from blue engrams than purple ones.

Compass: stand in an area to survey it
Ghost shaped icon: go to something and hold square to scan
Triangle: kill enemies and pick up their drops
4 diamonds (best I can describe it): kill enemies
Star: assassination

I'm tied up right now. 1/3 Legendary engrams turned legendary, and one blue engram out of I don't even know how many went purple. I think that the "purples from blues" ratio is right where it should be, IMO.

I got my first purple engram last night. Took it to the Cryptarch and he turned it into an Ascendent Shard. I lol'd.

Ohhh, I figured it was all the same OP stuff from before so I didn't re-read it. Frankly, my attention to detail is so low that it could have been there forever and I'd have still missed it.

The pursuit of loot in this game is so real. I actually did an Xbox record that when my legendary engram gave me a legendary dead orbit sniper and I rarely do record thats. 😆

Damage types?
Are you matching up your type of damage to the enemies shields?
For instance, I play a Striker titan, so I have a grenade and melee arc damage for blue shields.
I have a Sol Shotgun for Orange Shields.
I have a Void Machine gun for Purple shields.
I can knock a full blue shield off a Fallen Capt pretty regularly with one grenade. I can also take down most Wizard shields with a single shotgun blast.

The circle with a star in it are the Target Missions. Kill a specific mob. Reward is +25 Rep.
The one with a triangle that looks almost like a paper airplane, those you have to kill enemies and collect a drop item. Reward is +10 Rep.
The one that looks like a compass type thing are Survey Missions, got to an area and scout it. Reward is +10 Rep
The one that looks like a ghost, you have to go scan something. Reward is +10 Rep.
The shotgun is a bit buggy but garbage may be a little extreme. The Scout rifle is pretty good for taking out snipers if you don't have one.
Special aren't OP because everyone has one and if it's used right it can be advantageous to anyone.
The only complaint I have about Crucible is the damn vehicles, I don't find that they are properly balanced.

The old Halo OTs were also filled with obnoxious in-jokes. Just par for the course with Bungie fans I think.
Bounties, bounties and more bounties. Everything else has a random outcome and is a waste of time.

yup. and for me I think I've gotten more Exotics from Legendary engrams than actual Legendary items.
Had a bit of connection trouble earlier. Got disconnected a couple times and Crucible was really laggy.
Funny how the game insults you when you get booted by saying it's a problem with your internet connection.
Really a huge fan of Halo mp and I expected this to be tighter. Once I finish this bounty probably never going back to it
which one? I did the shotgun this morning and it was very easy.
I'm holding a 2.0 but I agree it is really bad. I only play it if I have too....

I edited in a correction. Compass is to survey an area, Ghost icon is to scan something.
I couldn't get it too pop till I handed in pvp bounties it popped right away.
Nah, I understand the elemental shield thing, it's just the yellow bar dudes are taking too much work to kill AFTER I get the shield off.
He has my glimmer and my blue balls.
It can get very frustrating indeed.

I play PVP solo and it just gets very frustrating when I'm facing a squad and one guy is always there to clean me up after I get a kill.
Vehicles can easily be taken out at range or with supers if you're close. I play a LOT about crucible and once you get the hang of it it's a blast.

Well, it sure looks hot. But its stats are actually worse than my current legendary chest piece and it has less upgrades. It's guaranteed that a fully upgraded Exotic will ALWAYS be better than a legendary?
