lol not drunk. A mix of messing around, bad luck, and weird shit happening.

1) Shoulder charge and the abyss don't mix. That was a bad idea.

2) One of you fuckers pushed me into a hole. I don't know who it was, but most of you were behind me so I blame all of you.

3) I have no idea how I died on my first trip across the bridge. No fucking clue.

4) Poor timing on killing the sword bearer and activating the bridge. Sword disappeared on me and killed me instantly.

The other folks get loot out of the chest I thought.

They were just refraining from opening to not spoil the rewards for viewers, besides the ones the summoner automatically gets.

I thought I heard from the stream that it que's the runes, so you can offer your rune and then wait until your rune is activated. You probably should help others on their runes if you want them to help you...

I've made the decision to solely start with my Warlock on 9/15, I barely play with my Titan and Hunter as it is. But I am keeping them. With school back and everything. But I will be ready for a raid team on 9/18 you bet your ass. I don't know if I'm going to run Stormcaller or Sunsinger I'm gonna have to wait and see.

You can present the rune to the statue in advance, you don't have to wait (if I heard correctly). So while you are waiting, you help out others with the current event, etc.

Those first two bosses they showed seemed like they can be easily downed in a few seconds if done right. The others looked better.

Heard a few "Guardian down" from the Nolandroid and they sound much better than last week for some reason.

Swords looked awesome.

They said something about that those Taken spheres will spawn on other Patrol destinations, too. Does that mean we'll be getting Patrol events ala TDB & HoW? Hopefully starting September 8th?

I think the trick is going to be getting a group of 6 to focus on 2 guys leveling up each class, so you roll in with an even mix of classes rolling into the raid at max level, perks unlocked, etc. Maybe not fully gearled (max light) in 3 days.

Was my first thought too when I saw the Lvl 41 Wizard. But we don't know everything about how Attack and Defense values will work in TTK so we should just wait and see before ranting about it.

I really like her stream. She has the typical stuff you see on popular Twitch streams like donation and sub alerts (complete with dubstep), but she always comes off as really grateful and never obnoxious.

I thought Court of Oryx was brilliant. They clearly realized how boring Patrol had become. This way, you can bet if the rewards are right there will be a group of guardians sitting around the Court popping a rune or waiting for someone to pop a rune. Again, brilliant.

One detail I thought I heard was players could offer a rune while an event was going on, and they would queue up and play out sequentially. I hope that's the case; the statues lined up then basically become like virtual quarters set on the arcade cabinet as you await your turn as the summoner.

There seemed to be a lot of activity on the patrols, just from the small spaces they went through:

• Cabal/Taken/Hive megabattle ala Skywatch
• Taken swarms with loot-dropping champions via the ethereal lights floating around.
• Lots of nooks and crannies branching off.
• Items drop that are not explained and require exploration, and then further patrolling to charge up.
• Court of Oryx

This is in addition to any other public events they did not show that run on the regular timers. Triggering the different events feels a bit like a "choose your own difficulty" approach to patrols, which is something they really needed.
