Destiny - Weapon Tuning 2.0

Your right, people can speed run solo CROTA in 16 minutes....That is absolute hours...

I wonder how he did it....? Gally perhaps...it needs to go and people need to deal with it.

Destiny trolls are cooler...

Soloing Crota in 16mins is hardly the norm though. You're taking a fairly outlier situation and brandishing it as the norm.

Skolas is the biggest bullet sponge ever BECAUSE of Ghorn. As long as Ghorn exists as is, bullet sponges are required. (In fact, one could argue he wasn't bullet spongey enough given some of the clear times with Gjallar groups, although I guess that was just as much due to the solar burn)

All of you that keep complaining about bullet sponge bosses should rejoice at this- the point is that they no longer have to exist. They've stated in the Vidoc that strike bosses will have less health and more mechanics driven focus- this is the means of enabling that. Old bullet sponges are still around, yes, but that content will pass into the past by the time this patch actually hits.

and new bullet sponges will appear after the new dlc. Wohooo can't wait

They took a sledgehammer to the hand cannon problems that required a scalpel instead.

The PVE shotgun nerf is absurd.

Hopefully they did not state the exact percentage of wolf pack rounds reduction because they're waiting for community feedback but I doubt it.

for once shotties were fun in PvE... God Bungie don't even look at there lastest data...

" we buff this shit and we forget it for 6 months and then we come back and we nerf it again, see we keep track and we update our game "

no you don't, you just run in circles like a headless chicken

I've already pulled Hard Light, No Land Beyond, and Dragon's Breath out of my Vault to start leveling up for TTK. Auto rifles getting a buff makes me erect.

I still use the Suros. Both it and the Monte Carlo are at 365.
Dragon's Breath I'll finish today. Probably also Word of Crota.

No Land Beyond...bleh. I just think this is the Ye Olde Musket.
I might try it, but it was trash when I used it before.

Thinking about, I believe lowering the magazine count for all handcannons is a bad idea. This change alone seems like it'll hurt HC like what happened to the auto rifles in the last weapon tuning.

I think Urox was a very fun fight, and one of the most balanced in a long time. They need more bosses that have a sort of distraction mechanic, where the team has to slow/stop DPS to avoid being killed.

Up until now the only way they could slow down a fight was to put an impenetrable shield on the boss, or overwhelm you with so many adds that you cannot even hope to do damage to the boss.

Most of the PoE encounters that had problems were only a few tweaks away from being really pretty decent.....all most of them really only need a reduction in add spawns (Quodron, Valus Trau'ug, Skolas).

Stages too (except Skolas, to a point). You can pretty much use the same spot.

I'd like to see more strikes like the Tannis fight, where it's not just a DPS war.

The Skolas fight (that I was able to see before getting kicked by my party) really impressed me. Having to carry the burn relic and swap it back and forth between everyone while damaging Skolas was crazy. I hope the Oryx is good and not:

Ya ive been using Suros since first time it popped up in xurs shop

I'm perfectly fine with all of the changes minus the extended time for Ice Breaker. If they are going to make us wait longer for a recharge I really wish they would give us larger magazines. If they extended the clip to 8 bullets I think that might strike a better balance if they also want to increase the time bullets are produced.

This nerf is bullshit and leads to a much bigger issue. The base game is about chasing gear/weapons. They should have just let you ascend the weapon level, not the perks. With this, why would you chase weapons in this game? Anything you get now will eventually be nerfed. It doesnt make sense, people will just move to the next best weapon.

Trying to balance PvP when warlocks can shoot nukes, hunter have invincible blades when they turn invisible, Titans with invulnerable smashes. Cmon. You want to make an improvement, remove the light level from armor. That is what is keeping this game from being great, everything has to be built around a stupid leveling system.

Does anyone know why they don't just do these changes now? They know exactly what they're going to do so why have another month of unbalanced mess pvp rather than sort it?

Probably because the new update was balanced around the new weapons and metagame that the Taken King will bring, rather than House of Wolves.
