TGS when

You mean to tell me, the only game Capcom had for E3 was SFV? Damn. What happened to: "more news about the future of the series at E3"?

Fill them surveys brethren.

What's Capcom up to this gen? Their two biggest projects so far have been funded by first parties, everything else is HD Remixes, a budget Resi, and a vaporware F2P game.

They must be having serious issues with Panta Ray.

Let's focus on the positives. We know DMC5 is coming, we have DMC4SE next week, we got DmC Definitive Edition, we're getting DMC 3142 translated, Dante and Vergil in everything.

Today is the dawn of a new area, not of skepticism, but of hope and hype. The unfeasible can happen. Either of the three can be disappointing, and their announcements are honestly kinda scummy. DMC5 might be disappointing as well. But none of that matters right now. What matters is that crazy dreams can happen. Heck, Shadow Hearts is happening, according to Verendus. That is honestly more of an impossibility than fucking TLG, Shenmue 3 and FF7 remake. Anything can happen now. DMC5 is happening. It will be announced. Likely not at E3, probably at TGS, but even then something might happen because Capcom. But it's real. Dreams are now real. We're in a living in the Dreamtime.

The hype is real.

guys there is still time.

apparently there are 2 Itsuno interviews/streams starting tmw and then Langdon on 18th...

We can at least fish for a leak that should tide us over till TGS... or whenever

Well shit, if Capcom is doing multiple streams for the next couple of days. I see no reason why it couldn't be announced in those!

Except for the Sony-backed SF5, Capcom hasn't shown anything at E3, right? How is that possible? What are they doing? I'm having an existential crisis over here. I need some good action games goddammit.

Gonna pass by my local shop tomorrow and see if they're getting DMC4SE Asia retail ver. any time soon or not.
If not I'm getting it off Play-asia.

love on your sleeve
Come on son, they had that Dreams game, the Hitman game a bunch of other Indie stuff. It would've been fine being in there and would've added to the hype.

By that notion Sony shouldn't have had anything else at the conference except for those 3 games because everything was going to get over shadowed by them.

Well that kind of proves the point. Who the hell is talking about Hitman or Dreams right now? Hell you had Gear 4 shown off for the first time yesterday and even that seems like a blip on the radar and that was a totally different conference!

Capcom is bound to release some info SOON. They've been only a footstep away from silent at the actual conferences, so there's bound to be some revelations incoming.

As for Platinum...
Nier 2 and Scalebound must be in full development swing, with plenty of man hours ahead...
But
Platinum is only doing the campaign in Star Fox, not developing the game itself.
Transformers is releasing this year, which means its wrapping up and going gold in a couple months.

That means there are soon to be some pretty big openings for P* to begin work on new games... like MGR2.

TBQH Capcom should start doing Direct-style videos that lead into Capcom-Unity gameplay/interview/special guest streams

Well shit, P* is allegedly co-developing Star Fox, not just designing its campaign... AND they're developing Project Guard, Miyamoto's concept game from last year.

o_O That's FIVE simultaneous projects!

Still, some staff are about to be relieved from their current project, meaning they can begin working on MGR2 later this year, without worrying about getting in the way of MGS5 hype and, instead, being the sole recipient of 'upcoming Metal Gear' hype.

informing metal gear weeaboos of the true fact that revengeance is canon will never ever stop being fun and i'm glad platinum's in on it as well

also, i'm definitely hoping they can still make rising 2 happen someday, but there's no way they've got the staff to be working on it right now

I hope you will never get DMC5

Besides, the year ain't over yet

Breh, I just sat through an hour of Nintendo going "we ain't got SHIT you haven't seen before nigga, come back in 2 years", don't you wish this on the rest of my favorite game franchises now.

Can't believe we got people gettting mad about the Shenmue 3 kickstarter, I'd kill for an Onimusha 5 kickstarter, it's the only way that franchise is getting revived in this day and age.

Chat is full of dumbo questions about DMC5 and DMC1 remakes. Trying to ask some questions but they're getting ignored.
