Ugh, the thirst is real. I just transmogrified the gear of my Diablo 3 Monk to look like Vergil's Devil Trigger.

It's confirmed on stream that all the Proud Souls/Red orbs are shared among all the characters.

It's not only shared but you basically get full Souls as if you are going from Nero to Dante.

So leveling up alternate characters will take up no time.

EXCELLENT.

I think Super characters should still require beating that particular campaign on DMD, though. Gotta master a character to earn that shit.

This honest to god makes me so damn happy. By the time I get back to Nero after the new characters, it'll be like where it was left off for me on PC.

Any word on how difficulties unlock?

Do you have to do it for each campaign individually or does unlocking in one carry over to the others?

I'm convinced the only reason we are seeing Lady and Trish in DMC4SE is because it was work they could leverage from DMC5

No game development ever truly went, "we were only planning on this one character, but we randomly realized we could develop and add two other whole characters as well"

That's what his normal Devil Trigger looks like. Nero's DT always looked like Vergil's DT.

Though I guess you could say that the only point in showing that silhouette is to make a wink wink connection for the fans.


It's pretty obvious Capcom is skirting around this for the epic moment when Vergil and Nero finally meet up so we can have an Empire Strikes Back "I AM YOUR FATHER!!!!" moment in DMC5.

But goddamn what a disappointing ending. That ending screen render is glorious, though. Holy crap it looks good.

Edit: Looks like he hits start or whatever by accident. Maybe there's a "true" Vergil ending if 100 enemies are defeated.

As for the OT maybe you can post up some youtube links to basic stuff. Like how to properly use the EX Guage. You know, basic stuff so that we don't have to bother answering them throughout.

Capcom put together a decent one for concentration guage with Vergil.

I could throw something up together on the basics but I'd have to wait for the game to come out. I think there are a lot of advances strats on youtube but nothing out there for newcomers.

I froze the screen ending and that is definitely Nero's DT. Capcom is teasing hardcore on that.

Pre ordering the game gives you free Lady and Gloria costumes.

Dante, Vergil, Nero costumes are free in game unlockable.

Palette swap costumes are also free unlockables in the game.


The only actual DLC is like the cheat mode DLC where you can unlock all the modes, costumes or get red orbs/proud souls for real money. We don't have the exact values for that but it's on their official site.

that is the most I can get out of that ending. Either he is referring to Nero showing the "true power of sparda" or he will indeed return to Fortuna to show the "true power of sparda"
