As far as I know, yes. According to Famitsu release list, Atlus is already working on a SMT game for PlayStation 3. Just check the seach function, there should be a thread about that somewhere.

Thats great. If they can keep up the great SMT games I couldnt be much happier. They have done a great job this generation and have made some of the most memorable rpg's ever

I just wonder where they'll get the money to make their next-gen SMT engine?

If you trust the rumors, SMT3 engine came from Microsoft's checkbook as they paid to fund SMT9 for Xbox, but all the money was used to build the SMT3 engine for PS2 (which they've been able to re-use for their other games since then).

If R&D1 can get the money and spend the few years to make a great next-gen SMT4 engine, they'll just be able to keep re-using that in other games for the rest of the generation. So the question is just where will they find the funds to build that engine ^^;

In fact, the Japanese sites have just shown a delay of the PS2 game to 2/9/05 :\
