Ok so i broke my build after respeccing and didnt know you cant respec again lol. Im stuck at diablo on the normal difficulty and need someone to kill him so i can respec on the next difficulty. Can anyone help ?

Just finished normal with my sorceress, here's my skills so far:

10 fire bolt
20 fire ball
3 fire mastery

1 static field
1 telekinesis
1 teleport

Should i respect in nightmare or I keep going that way? If so, do I go blizzard, meterorb, orb/fireball?

You don’t need to withdraw any gold. It automatically takes money from your stash at vendors if you don’t have enough on you.

to add to my above post, I went blizzard. It does the most damage and is amazing at farming very specific places

going to use offensive merc + static to take down cold immunes, or just skip them

No, but you can change to 640x480 in the options menu which zooms it in a bit, kinda pointless though.

go for firewall man, it's cheap, and has the highest dps. Works well in pvp too.

Firewall is a great backup element skill if you're going for another element, don't think you need very many points into it and just 1 point into fire mastery.

I do them sometimes but I usually skip them and go straight for mephisto

teleport past them and use moat trick to kill mephisto while taking no damage

In d2 it’s completely fine and normal to skip mobs that aren’t quick to kill with your build

especially for sorceress

I’m blizzard sorc and I just teleport past immunes

other way is basically deck out your merc and use static

later you’ll get infinity rune word which can help

I’m sure there other rune words or items I’m missing that can help

I was doing 10k/6 seconds before with poison javalin. How is this spec allowed in the game! Someone please hook me up. It doesnt need to be anything amazing, but something that will let me atleast kill the mobs.

Just started Act 2 with the rat sewers.

Got no luck with skeleton archers. Got killed the only time time in Act 1 before the monastery with a mob of archers and a boss archer. Same thing happened right away in the sewers. A giant group of them shooting fast fire arrows, and a boss shooting cold arrows. Got destroyed.

Dont even think Merc Emilio even got a hit in. LOL. Chose a merc with Defiance perk.

Still in Act1, going for a Zealot. Only finished the game as a barb back in the day not knowing wtf I was doing. Does anyone else play on Xbox with an LG oled because my TV keeps turning to 'prevent burn-in' mode which makes the game look even darker. I havent experienced this with any other game despite static images, shit is weird. I know I can turn it off manually.

I got one or two if you're on PC. Bows are kinda trash these days. Think a ice specced bowazon are alright. There's probably some easy to make runeword bows that could make do also.

Knock on wood, no issues so far on my end. I'm playing offline though. Although at first boot up of the game it still says something about connecting to Battle.net, so even offline SP has a connection I think.

Finally caved and got this for the Switch.

I'm pissed though - I guess there isn't a way to play the game without linking your Battle.net account. I tried doing that - I haven't signed into battle.net in a couple of years - and it's asking me for a copy of my photo ID. I'm not fucking giving blizzard a copy of my photo ID. And apparently, refunds aren't a thing for the Switch so I'm just fucked I paid $40 for a cutscene.

Alright I tried the game at a friend's house and it is not for me, even though I loved Diablo 3 but it was my first dip in the Diablo universe.So my question is do the people like it because they used to like it when it came out or are there new players that enjoys it too?
Because I really hate how the inventory is handled and how everything feels cumbersome and rigid especially compared to its 3rd opus.We were just at the beggining of the game but does it get better, like a bigger inventory or smoother gameplay?

Yea, happened to me 3x already, private stash is nearly full, sucks. PS5 version also has the weird "Vaseline effect" when moving around that was present in the BETA, hopefully Blizz sorts all this stuff out soon, loving the game, these blemishes hurt the experience.

yeah they definitely buffed the menus and i prefer offline mode because of zero lag, so in all this is better than the beta, but i still feel a bit silly for paying full price for an hd reskin.

Yeah i saw that the personal stash is unaffected but the shared one not. It also duplicated all of my gemstones once which was a bit of good thing that came out of this. Still 90% of my runes are lost. Let's hope for the best!

Oh wow I did not expect to kill Duriel on first try. My Druid hasn't died yet. Either he is overpowered or the game is easier somehow than I remember.

Not if it's in the shared stash which is where I was keeping mine to share with other characters. That was annoying in the beta. I'm on PC now so no issue cause I can use the keyboard.

Have you toggled the graphics? It's much more than just HD. Plus it's $40 compared to some games at $70. It's a bargain for how many hours I'm going to get out of it.

... *screws up face* okay ya got me, I was generalizing a bit, I do accept that it's more than an HD boost, that it's a meticulous rebuild, I just have a feeling that yes besides this reskin very little has been changed. And I know that this is what we wanted, but I would have enjoyed little changes like an auto-sort function in inventories, and such.

I do love this game, I have loved it for decades, I'm glad I own it. But yeah, there is the aforementioned feeling.

As long as you are cool with it not being nearly as streamlined and smooth in its control and UI I would say yes. It has a far superior atmosphere and immersive quality.

Yep, I wish keyboard and mouse got an action bar and auto sort like controller gets. I'm open for them to add more quality of life options and more items down the road, for sure.
