I really wonder if I can figure out what was up with that wonky performance tonight. Worst case scenario was like 80% usage. Best case scenario was almost no usage at all. I still don't get it.
Someone over at Diablofans took the time to organize all of the progression set icons into their respective sets and order. Some pretty nice looking art. All of this artwork combined with actual "green" sets and uniques, should make for quite a bit of visual diversity. Mix in some dyes and you've got a lot of options for becoming that special snowflake!

At least out of these items, my least favorite is the Wizard stuff. Kinda crappy since I'm fairly positive that's the class I'll be playing.
Edit: I just realized the Wizard pics don't have helms in them. That could definitely be why.

No it's just because of Blizzard's weekly server maintenance. Everything goes down from SC2 to WoW to their websites.

Can someone explain how the basic attacks work in the game? Especially for the Demon Hunter. I'm assuming it doesn't work like WoW with auto-attack where you basic attack is just cycled at your attack speed interval and your active skills are used on top of that cycling auto attack for more damage.
The reason I ask, is because there is a DH passive skill called 'Fundamentals'. It increases the damage of your basic attack by 100%. This makes me wonder, because I see some DH skills that deal less than 200% weapon damage when runed. Assuming that a basic attack deals 100% weapon damage (that's a big assumption, but since I cant confirm Ill have to just run with it) then it would seem that with the Passive ability Fundamentals, there would be a few Active skills that deal less damage than your basic attack.
That doesn't seem right considering your Active skills cost hatred, but every basic attack actually generates 15 hatred. In essence, why would a skill that costs resources do less damage than your basic attack that is used to generate resources? Does anyone know what the damage calculation is for basic attacks? Perhaps they dont do 100% weapon damage.

When you left click on an enemy, you auto-attack with your current equipped weapon.
If there is no enemy where you just left clicked, you attempt to move there.
Now, if a bow shoots an arrow every 2 seconds for 100-200 damage (those are its stats, let us assume), and you hold left click on a mob that survives more than one shot, you will shoot it repeatedly until it dies.
The aforementioned passive skill makes your auto attacks do double damage - so in my example, 200-400 instead. It doubles the damage of your shoots.
Every skill of yours, however, DOES something. If it does "less than 100%" of weapon damage, that can easily scale later on in the game into more than 100%, and then some. There have been many skills like that in these type of games.
There was 1 guy who wrote a blog and was specifically in contact with a Blizzard employee. Who gave him the beta, its friends and family and media and other weird ones.MrKnives said:
