Diablo 3 Beta [Beta withdrawal underway!]

Testing how well it runs on my PC will be a huge factor for me, since my CPU is below minimum requirements and my video card is on the low end of what can run the game. I'll be doing things like trying to gather as many onscreen enemies as possible and using the flashiest spells to tax my PC as much as possible.Belgorim said:And even if it is just a small part, at least running around with your character for yourself and testing the engine yourself will be worth it. I too was flagged Friday, so it will be interesting to see when we're invited. I'm up for gaf co-op runs once I've done a couple solo runs too, which should also be a nice test of my PC.

I also want to test my MacBook. I just got it recently so its pretty good, but I want to try running it on the 27 inch Apple LED display and see how it looks/runs! I wonder if I will be able to install it on my PC also. Test two birds with one stone.... or something.
I need to run some more tests someday to figure out that weird CPU usage I was experiencing a few weeks ago. As a recap:
First run, vsync on. Ridiculously high CPU usage considering I'm running a 2500K @ 4.4GHz
Second run, wsync off. Why did the usage go down so much, even though I'm rendering more frames?
Third run, vsync off, SLI off. It's like the game isn't even using any CPU. What?
Very, very puzzling CPU usage patterns.

On a q9550/4GB/1GB 460 GTX OC, I get slowdown in multiplayer games. No stutter, but actual slowdown. Not sure if it's due to lag or what.
Other than that, the game very much feels like Diablo. I went through it with a female monk, who was decent fun, but a bit lacking in flair when it came to animations. Maybe the male characters are the way to go here.
I was also really surprised at the small amount of content available to play, but it's better this way. Don't wanna spoil the game.

Well, there does not seem to be any information anywhere of anyone getting in since then. Not a 100% proof of noone getting in, but we would probably know if someone did get in.Salz01 said:
