Hope it lives up to the memories I had playing DII with my best friend in HS.
Hehe, tall order.

6 years is not efficient....that is a lot of salary and overhead.
Wow, just read about this. You'd think the game would be done by now and complete but guess not. This worries me, but I already have my copy paid in full. Hope it lives up to the memories I had playing DII with my best friend in HS.
There are widescreen hacks. Not sure if those get you banned online.Tried going back to play Diablo II earlier today.
Game does not scale well with high resolution monitors :/ Unless there are workarounds for it?

I just played in the larger small window. Game still has a lot of charm and was fun to work up to 70 something as a new class.
Game is basically done. Jay Wilson was just confirmed to have said the arena PVP will be patched in later because the rest of the game is pretty much done and they dont want to punish the solo players by waiting. Im expecting an April-May-June release at latest.
And your D2 memories are nostalgic and nothing will match those.
No PVP makes me depressed. I hope it'll only take a couple of days for Blizzard to implement it because I was planning on massing Arena-games as soon as I turn 60...
Fuck.
._.Hoh, look who is back![]()
I tried one minute ago and it worked. Is hardcore working for anyone else? The requirement was lvl 10, right? I keep getting crashes.
Couple days?No PVP makes me depressed. I hope it'll only take a couple of days for Blizzard to implement it because I was planning on massing Arena-games as soon as I turn 60...
Fuck.
Hmm, it's not working at all... I might level another guy up to 10 and see if that solves the problem.I tried one minute ago and it worked.
How long did it take for WoW to get battleground PvP?Couple days?
You mean Couple months.
Actually the weird thing is that I didn't level a new character to 10 after patch 14, I had a lv12 sorc that I leveled to 13 and then hardcore mode worked.Hmm, it's not working at all... I might level another guy up to 10 and see if that solves the problem.
Hmm, so basically I should be able to transfer one of my (lvl10+) characters to hardcore? That's not working either, god damn it.Actually the weird thing is that I didn't level a new character to 10 after patch 14, I had a lv12 sorc that I leveled to 13 and then hardcore mode worked.

I meant that the option to create a new character in hardcore mode unlocked after that. I don't think you can transfer from normal to hardcore.Hmm, so basically I should be able to transfer one of my (lvl10+) characters to hardcore? That's not working either, god damn it.
Why don't they just implement a hostile button like in Diablo 2? They can always add specific pvp content later.

Because that was incredibly disruptive for people who wanted to play online in public games with people they didn't know already. The existence of PvP in normal games is basically the reason I stopped playing public games, both in D1 and D2. I'm seriously glad they've taken that shit out.
Oh God. 8 months and I'll be tired of PvE, I'm sure.8 months (I think it came out in June after the November release).

I always thought the feeling of terror was fun when some lvl 99 barb joined the game. It was like you were in a real slasher movie.
And you've never tried to gank someone yourself?

I didn't want that terror. Guaranteed if they've built a PvP character they will kill me, so that's pretty damn boring.
And nope. I'm in Diablo purely for the coop. People 'ganking' people have always been a downside to this series for me. Diablo 1 was the worst with glitches allowing townkilling and such. Fucking firewalls on the spawn point.

I really wish Diablo 3 was coming to iPad. Like, really really really wish.
Consensual hostile button then. Do you accept duel from player X: Yes/no ?
Imagine you buy Diablo 3 day one and you start playing from lvl 1 with a friend.
At lvl 20 you can both decide: hey let's duel for a bit and then do the next quest.
You lost me.
When I say he lost me I don't mean I don't understand him. I mean he asked me to imagine I'm playing the game, which is fine because I will, and then he asked me to imagine I want to duel with a friend, which I have no interest in doing at all. Not even once across the 15 or whatever years I've been playing the games of this series have I *wanted* to duel. I've been *dragged* into it a few times, though, and it's one of the few blemishes of a series I love.
It has to have some resemblance of balance or REMOVED.Can't they like, delay Arena and just add a simple Duel-function? Is it really that hard?
Hehe, tall order.
The bold part is gonna happen no matter what.It has to have some resemblance of balance or REMOVED.
It's probably WoW syndrome of having 50,000 people complain on the forums and they don't want 'oh no my barb can't fight wizardsssssss'

There's this really awesome app for iOS/Android called Splashtop Remote Desktop. It does exactly what the name sounds like.
I hate that I still don't have this beta, haha.
Bleh. At least the game should be coming out fairly soon.
