The textures seem a little more defined, but it could just be my brain wanting to pick something out. If you look at the bricks, they look a little less one dimensional.
I'm hoping it will take me this long - I am in no hurry to finish. I'm at 3 hours played and I have only done one quest after the beta boss...

Check the map area. Check the shadows on the trees near the characters. Look at the main character. They're worse if you look at them.

It's getting slammed by idiot kids who skipped school and couldn't play their game on day 1.
Besides who goes to metacritic? i always thought metacritic was the fanboy site where the drones and bots bashed each others exclusives.
I have been playing since 9am(EST) this morning with absolutely 0 problems.
I'm probably too DPS-focused. The one thing I have going for me is 20+ HP gained per smack. Nice with duel wield. I can basically sit there and tank most mini bosses and watch my life climb.
The problem is big hitters and casters...just over 1k HP at level 25. Two hard hits connect and I'm a goner.

Are there any differences in gameplay with different classes other than combat and skills? Unique quests maybe?

A lot of people are angry over the server issues and are taking their frustration out by doing that with Metacritic and leaving bad reviews on Amazon.
The game itself is fantastic but the server issues are annoying. It'll all get sorted out.
It's generally fantastic. I haven't even reached the end of the beta content, though, so I'm not in a position to judge the entire product.
The thing is nobody gives a shit about the people who were complaining.
Games have problems and the game works perfectly now, god forbid someone can't play a video game for 24 hours and most of that backlash was out of pure ignorance of how servers work. And as for the game it is really really fun.

Wow, sorry guys, it's abundantly clear on many popular sites that there is a strong (user based) backlash against this game, your touchiness isn't really convincing me otherwise. I just wanted to know whether it was down to the quality of the game or the current state of the game's service.
