All gods eventually immigrate to the U.S. It's the way of things.
Noone wants to or cares to justify anything tbh. I just want the servers back up so I can play. Your going to have to forgive folks not really caring about your outrage. The majority of us got over this nearly a year ago when it was announced.

Is there anyway to force antialasing in this game? Even with it on in the options menu, characters still look jaggy, just more blurry.

My friend is wondering if D3 will be playable on a AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2.0 Ghz, which, I understand, is below minimum specs.
He says the beta worked fine for him but he's worried that the retail version might not, so he's on the fence at the moment.

Are you familiar with Blizzard game launch days? Or even.. Most Fridays on bnet in the earlier days of Diablo 2? Granted, times have changed, but some things seem unavoidable.

What's worse is, if they did allow single-players to not login, then the servers would have a lot more room for the people who did want to play multiplayer. It would solve things for both groups at once.

Some folks are getting through in about 12-13 hours but they're blitzing through it, and they're experienced. And that first play through Normal of a Diablo game is insignificant in the grand scheme of things; ultimately the game is as long as you want to keep playing it. This series is all about replay.

Wow, got a "Removed from game" error in the middle of Act 1's ending FMV and was booted to the character select screen. Good shit Blizzard.

A significant chunk of the game logic is run on the server. I think it's pretty fundamental to the architecture of the software that you be connected.
