lol you should have put that Bush Mission Accomplished picture in this post. I think I would have fallen out of my chair.

I'd buy the CE but the only thing I want is the WoW pet and wings

Could I make a deal with someone to buy the code and you can keep/sell everything else? I don't want the whole CE

The items are tied to your account, there is no code or anything to trade.

Absolutely brilliant forethought by Blizzard.

Make your game dependent on online connectivity and then ignore the obvious problems of online connectivity as your customers all try to actually play said game on said release.

Yet publishers wonder why they face problems trying to maximize profits.

OK so say I play through all IV acts on a Wizard and unlock Hell mode. (A) I can keep leveling up my Wizard (right?) and (B) if I star a new character and select Hell mode is he going to be level 1 and just get owned?

Basically do I need to level each class through Normal difficulty for them to play and survive at harder levels?

I bet you guys are really thrilled. With your awesome, flowing, glorious angelic wings that spring from your backs like liquid streams of heavenly light.

You've no idea. I was playing earlier and trying to figure out why I wasn't enjoying the game as much as I was earlier in the day. Turns out I had forgotten to activate the wings. Smooth sailing from then on.

I'm throwing in the towel. I've been at my PC for over an hour waiting to play and I guess its not happening. Time for bed. At least I had THIS and GAF to keep me entertained during the wait.

It's really disappointing how bad this game runs. None of the asset loading issues, that the blues said were fixed internally were fixed. I can have a solid 60fps yet when walking around the game stutters, with only my companion and I on screen, no spell effects going off. I dread playing this in coop if it's just as bad as it was in beta.

The game never goes above 30% cpu usage, or 60% gpu usage, yet runs this bad, something ain't right here.

Son of a beech. How long does it take to reboot a server?

I mean, I guess they probably want to know why it crashed to begin with, but still.

I'd rather they just boot it back up and let us play for a few more hours until it crashes again. And then when it is early in the A.M. for everyone and minimal people are playing, fix it
while I'm at work

Yep, I'm quite confused about this.

I'm pretty sure they're not just rebooting. There are probably massive memory leaks they need to plug, digging through a hundred thousand lines of python code to find an errant pointer is incredibly time consuming.

It's been a while since a game has had a hold on me. Love the game. I played in open beta and I loved it and now it's still just as fun. I can't wait to sink my teeth into some of the later difficulties.

ya they should test that before in like a beta or stress test or something....

Take off vsync

I am more excited for the bitching to stop in this thread once the servers get fixed and working properly than I am to actually play the game.

Was fun, but standing up for hours was exhausting. Signing took ridiculously long, so alot of people just left without autographs.
They launch t-shirts with canons that managed to hit my brother in the face haha.
Some people went crazy though, one landed near the baby carriage and this guy fell on the carriage.
Luckily the baby was okay.

Yah I can imagine the standing up for hours part being annoying, having worked at a concession store at a movie theater years ago and waiting in NYC for the New year's eve from 3 pm till well midnight sorta got me used to standing up for a long time.

Lool about ur bro, I hope that he got the tee shirt at least and that he wasn't pwned by a ravenous fan who would have been standing at the ready, nearby.

Good to hear the baby was fine ( can't help but find it a bit weird to take a baby at an event like this)

For our launch event here in montreal ( wasn't at midnight though but at 8 am due to some law), we got to see during the night a fight between a drunk couple and were flashed a few times by a hobo

Dammit, plan foiled.

Ya bastards.

I need to spice my Witch Doctor up. He's a fairly gangly fellow.
