It's really disappointing how bad this game runs. None of the asset loading issues, that the blues said were fixed internally were fixed. I can have a solid 60fps yet when walking around the game stutters, with only my companion and I on screen, no spell effects going off. I dread playing this in coop if it's just as bad as it was in beta.

The game never goes above 30% cpu usage, or 60% gpu usage, yet runs this bad, something ain't right here.

I got rid of stuttering by turning the audio down to the lowest setting.

the hell is going on over there?

That's what I am wondering too. I think they are just desperately trying everything at this point.

I know its not worth bitching but I am pissed.

I took an unpaid day off to play this solo style.

Due to my lack of understanding of the system, I did not even imagine it being this much of a mess.

I played for about an hour or so this morning, got d/c'd a handful of times and so I left the computer and did a few things around the house, thinking they would get this shit fixed!

Come back 2 hours later and servers are down, wait around until 4 o'clock (time I would normally be getting off of work) and get to play for about 30 minutes before the wife comes home and we have to run chores.

Now I come home and the servers crapped out, and it's been a shit show ever since.

Like I said I know there is no point to complaining, but blizzard deserves a giant FUCK YOU.

Back to work tomorrow, where I am forced to stay late, and then Thursday the same thing and then away for the weekend. Looks like I'm not playing D3 this week. For fuck sakes.

well im going to bed. Im sure things will be fine in the morning, pretty confident about it
Let's just try again in the morning ok it will work I know it.

Taking off vsync if you haven't tried it is a no-go for this game, if you do it still stutters but you then get a bonus, near constant screen tearing.

Damn. I had stuttering problems and fps spikes in beta but now it's always over 100fps no matter what's on the screen at max settings. I only have an i5 and a gtx460

Rookie mistake on taking the day off on day of the game coming out. Wait a day or two for shit to sort out.

I dont' know about you guys but I got a solid amount of D3 in today, although the server repair is annoying its nothing to freak out over sheesh

I bet you servers will come up a while from now when all of East coast goes to bed and most of Central so the servers aren't so hammered and then Blizzard will say SUCCESS WE ARE AWESOME!

Compensate us for what? The servers are having problems, but it's not like were having to pay monthly for the game...

For buying a product that doesn't work at launch? Not that I'm expecting/demanding compensation.

I really have no sympathy for them, it's not like Diablo wasn't going to be a big release.

i am happy i was able to put a solid two hours into the game today. the longest straight period of video gaming in months.

The only craft I've run into so far is the blacksmith. I'm a Witch Doctor so I thought I'd check out the others before I invested any money into it.

Craft investment is always pretty solid because
a) even though he outlevels you really easily, you can make rare gear to put up on the AH and make a ton of cash
and
b) Smith upgrades (and other craft NPCs) are applied to your entire account

I'm a WD too, level 23 now, and roughly half my gear was crafted at the smith

Forget everything else, unpaid day off? The hell?

I think most people freaking out are the ones who didnt get solid play time like you. It would suck if someone worked all day then came home and servers are down.

Rookie mistake? Its supposed to be a fucking SINGLE PLAYER GAME, at the very least I should be allowed to play without co-op.

Battle net is such a shit service.

I'm a tradesman, I get paid per job. So a day off means no moolah.

To offset the damage, I took the day off to do some reno's on the house yesterday, I followed into today cause of D3.

Got a decent amount of play time in with my roommate today. We weren't able to finish Act 1, but we're definitely near the end. I look forward to finishing that off tomorrow.

So...? You're going to get your $60 regardless of the one day that the servers mess up, it happens. If it turns out to be like the launch of WoW, then I can understand, but that made me more upset because I had to pay $15 a month along with the initial purchase.

Awesome cuz i've poured the majority of my money into smithing. Atm I can make up to lvl 19 gear and I'm only lvl 15.

It's not like the time in-game was fucking smooth either....
