Just got my CE. Can I overwrite my digital copy now, or do I have to call Blizzard to get a standard key back?

You find him near the end of Act 2. He'll show up on your mini-map as a diamond.

I'm having the same problem. If anyone else is having this problem, I'll say that I've found the problem happens much more often in town than when out and about. Could be coincidence I know, but test it for yourself.
Is the vsync weird or does it not play nice with adaptive vysnc? I can't play in full screen mode, and am not sure the best way to set everything for this game to get a perfect 60. Maybe it has to do with playing on a plasma via hdmi? GTX 580/2600k.
FRAPS gives different readings, and the in game counter is at sixty, then flashes to 30. Game is still great, but I feel like something is off and it could be smoother.

Yeah, the DPS of the weapon will affect the other abilities so equip the best you can get (taking other attributes into consideration obviously).

If you mean hitting with your weapon, you can't unless you remove one of the skills form your mouse so it defaults to using your equipped weapon. All skills use your weapon damage for their own damage however so it's always better to just spam skills. Be sure to enable Advanced Tooltips soyoubcan see how much damage your skills do.

I loved Diablo but kind of hated Diablo 2.
I was really worried that I wouldn't like this game, but the sirlin.net breakdown of how it did everything pretty much the opposite of D2 sold me on it.
I'm glad it did because the game is excellent. Only played a Demon Hunter to level 15 but man, this is fun.

Did you lose progress?
There is known issue where a change to your templar's equipment can cause your game to desync with the servers. You can find more info on blizzrad's forums.

Is it possible to access the Auction House from inside the game or can you only do it from the character screen prior to logging in?
Yep. AO is pretty much always a very nice visual addition but it has a particularly great effect in this game since the darker, fuller shadowing adds a lot to the atmosphere on top of being much better-looking.

Got a bit of an OCD question:
Can you change the order of your listed characters int he character select screen?
I find it a little annoying that they are hard locked in the order you created them in with your first main character at the bottom.
It would be nice if they sorted them by last played character at the top or the most played character at the top.

Most of the code runs from Blizzards side. I think the client mostly has digital assets.
I got my WD to 11. seems really strong. I tried frogs and had the same feeling as stress test beta in that they don't seem all that great unless you are willing to stand in near melee range. Even then they are slightly frustrating. That said, it's amazing how much getting the different runes changes the abilities so I'm sure it'll get better.

I've played Torchlight on my humble white MacBook and I don't recommend it... Double clicking is hell itself and besides, you can get a cheap mouse for like 10 anyway.

Question about Wizards, what is offhand they should go after? Like mine has a shield, lol. I don't think I should be equipping these?

Certainly. It'll be a nice ~60 hours to get a single character to max level.
And since your characters are multi by default, nothing's stopping you from taking your char for a whirl with gaffers.

Whatever has the stats you want, really. Gotta weight the pros and cons between things and 2H/1H+OH, etc.
Shields are probably not a great idea though, unless its for something specific later in the game, maybe?
There are specific offhand for Wizards, as with the other classes. Books, orbs and such.

Yeah, this is basically how I feel. I'm glad they didn't regard their own game as some sort of holy bible that can never be deviated from.

Someone just mentioned above, but offhands start dropping for Wizards towards the end of Act I, I think? Books and Orbs and the such.
Need some NM advice. Right now I have 417 dex/600 dps and 328 vit/3700 life. I have very crappy shoulders and bracers. Also I'll upgrade my gems soon(once I have the moneyz), so you can safely add ~100 dex/50 vit. Is that safe enough for Act I? Please don't forget - I'm playing HC.

Guess it's better he's not around since it'll be slightly tougher without him. And by that I mean still very easy. Especially with Soul Harvest, jaysus.

1 bow with good DPS and a quiver with +7 dex and 10% faster attack or 2 bows with decent DPS?
Undecided if I should just duel wield crossbows or have 1 crossbow + quiver. Does the damage for both bows stack or just the main bow stack on the skills?

I can't seem to see a use for Soul Harvest since usually am not very close to the action. Same reason why that Zombie Dog passive doesn't do squat since it has a range of 12 yards.
