After getting in, try to immediately connect to general channel. See if that help. People said that helps with d/cs.
It's probably a good thing you left when you did. The game afterward I was stacking movespeed buffs from Sprint and Whirlwind modified with a movespeed bonus to spin around the map. It was surprisingly effective though. I need to hit 34 faster to see if I can stack the Frenzy movespeed buff on it too.
I can't give up Vault for anything. Way too convenient to have. Especially with a MS bonus, you can either plow through enemies by stunning them, or by having unlimited mobility and speed with double vault. Why can't Vault be with some real crappy skills instead, lol.
But that gets in the way of their efforts to be FIRST FIRST FIRST

Yeah that guy in the screenshot is streaming right now. His damage is ridiculous on that Demon Hunter, but he has to stay away from any and everything. The purple/yellow soldier packs only need to touch him twice and he is a corpse. Its incredible to watch though. He can kite like crazy.
Just the trash before the boss is wrecking these guys. They need to go back and farm. They are trying to chain rez it, but the soft enrage isnt making that easy. I mean, they could probably do it, but it would take two and a half hours with NO mistakes made lol.

I can see a team chain rezzing and kiting through inferno really quick. Then all the Diablo III forum regulars (on Blizz's D3 forum) will jump up and say "BLIZZARD LIED THIS GAME IS SO EASY ZOMG1111!!!!).
When in fact 95% of them will probably never finish inferno.

My bet is on months to years at best for an Inferno Hardcore clear. And you won't ever likely be on farm for that shit for HC.

Just watched them drop it.
I'm playing in a group and now in nightmare I kinda feel underpowered as a Witch Doctor. I must be doing something wrong. Still searching for a really solid build at this stage (I keep switching every 10 min).
So I came up with this build for 54+ levels, so late hell/inferno, no pets since I'm in a group.
Dire Bats + Mana Regen build
Spirit Walk into a group > Soul Harvest > get out while the SW is up > Grasp > Confuse (if up) > BBV (if up) > spam Dire Bats like crazy since the Vision Quest is up (it should be pretty much all the time I guess).
Should be ok.

Watching the attempt I can't help but feel like it's a case of them being the first there rather than actually showcasing any skill.
I got a guest pass from a colleague and decided to play it last night.
Created a Monk because they looked quite cool in the very few D3 videos I saw.
Didn't like the game. Especially the part that the weapons I equip were only for show. He doesn't actually use the swords I duel-wielded.
Went to bed thinking I'm not going to get the game. The lack of controller support for this kind of game I don't understand either. For me it's a no-brainer that I would like to play it that way. Even if it meant not OMGWTFPWN-face in PvP.
Tried it earlier today with a Barbarian and the early skills acknowledge the different weapons that I have equipped.
So I bought it anyway. Lots of people I know play this game so even if it's not my favorite genre, the coop play makes it fun.

I'm feeling mighty autistic this morning, so I've successfully sent out friend requests to North Americans to the first 250 people on that GAF battletags list. I'm hoping to discover if D3's friends list has a cap or not!

Just watched Method complete Act 2 (as I am stuck at work), and that was fun.
But what really annoyed me was the amount of people in chat proclaiming the game to be easy because of this. Apparently one group of hardcore players doing something directly impacts your own progression. Who'd have known?

Just reading Battle.net Technical forums makes me nauseous.
There are problems with shutdowns, restarts, BSOD, overheating, fans and so on on laptops.

So been playing for a few days now, and I am seriously loving it. Have a 26 Wizard and a 24 Witch Doctor. My Wizard has some shitty gear, but I am still impressed by how great the Witch Doctor is. Soul Harvest is absoutely insane. With 5 stacks it doubles my damage. I hope this spell continues to scale as I progress through the game. I've been focusing on my Wizard to begin with, but I am seriously considering changing to the WD. Aside from being a cool character, and absolutely great, among the people I can play with, there are no WDs.
Another thing I've got to mention, is the animations. Dear god there are so many fucking awesome animations. From Wizards with lasers, to Witch Doctors with the coolest grenades since the Holy Grenades in Worms, to the bladestorming mobs with the greatest death animation. This is definitely one of my favorite aspects of the game.
Anyway, gotta log off GAF. It's the 17th of May, Norways national day and I gotta go

If you go to any tech forum after a game launches they will always claim that the game screwed their computer somehow. Most of the time it is just mismanaged maintenance on the owner's part.
Allright. Have you on my calendar- will get in touch once I get in game.
Yeah, I think it is mostly problem of the one beiing affected, too.
The preparation I did was upgrading erry driver, defrag and clean disk, clean registry, system files, check ram errors, etc, etc,... and that is what people think will happen on it's own.
Least there's always HC Inferno. That'll be a true feat.
