They werent bad if you spammed the jumping ones after you did an int boost. Tons of #'s on the screen
They are getting destroyed, this is hilarious to watch.

I love it the way it is. Noone is freaking out on anyone for the "pitiful dps" that they wouldnt even notice save for a meter. So anyone can play any spec they like, and the only thing the party cares about is whether or not they are advancing.
Polar opposite of what damage meters did to WoW. 2 guys could be doing 40k but you have folks that cant stand running a 5 man because the 3rd dps is in PvP gear doing 5k. It really doesnt matter at that point.
They're just skipping monsters to go ahead. Go in naked, to save the rep costs. haha... pretty pathetic
I really REALLY wish Blizzard would do some small update that makes the music abit louder overall than all other volume levels. Seems like such a small problem, but I just cant get over the fact that I have to turn music to 100 and everything else aside from ambient to levels like 30 and 40, and crank my PC volume to max just to hear it.

Yeah, seems there's a problem with my card and the latest ATI Catalyst drivers - the game prompted me to update them prior to playing, but I just rolled back to the previous drivers and now I can play with everything at medium, although I have to drop down the resolution to get 15+ fps, but at least I can play
Nah. A team has killed the end bosses of Act 1 and Act 2. They had to skip every elite pack since they got absolutely slaughtered.
Barely scratched the surface.

About 1/3rd of the way through Act 1 with 4 acts total on the first difficulty of 4.
With Act4 being shorter than the others.

Thanks all. Jeez, I though this game is supposed to be short. I've already played for six hours. I should know by now, games are never as short as some make them out to be.
I switched over to another router (Billion 7404VGP-M) and it's been fine -- just finished a ~one hour session. *touch wood*

Just know that you won't hit max level or see all your skills after beating the game on normal.
Finished hell, ran through some more with neph valor to see the difference (it's very noticeable in terms of what drops. A3 boss instead of the usual '2 blues' you get without mf, dropped 6 blues and 4 rares with only 95 mf from the valor and a couple minor items).

very disappointed in the viability of anything that isn't tank oriented as a melee character. going to take a TON of specific gear to be able to beastmode dps your abilities and not get crushed in groups.
That said, I'm extremely happy with the look of high level gear, even blues and yellows.
Love dat helm, since have dyed it all white for lack of options and it still looks cool.

What is the level cap, by the by?
I'm tempted to keep playing with my character on higher difficulties, something I've never really done with games in the past. But then I also want to try out different classes, because I have a felling my choice (wizard) isn't the most exciting option. I can see why Diablo is such a time sink for so many people.
60. It should take until you've nearly finished hell to hit the cap. then the game ACTUALLY begins.
60 currently. You get all skills by 30 and then unlock the runes as you progress to 60.

Finished the game on Normal, didn't even die once. Probably die lots in harder difficulties.

Yes (Possibly) but mostly on low settings.
My I'm at the end of act 3 on Nightmare right now. I would've bowled through it with some other GAFfers but I decided to do some special item hunting and some work on my gear.
1250 isn't all that high for 48 but this gear set has 90% magic find on it lol. My actual DPS would go up if I ignored it and just went raw damage. I can still solo well to boot, just need a couple of heal skills and to be a bit safer. Going to work on getting some intelligence in there as well for a higher resist stat.
