Agreed. MTX in a F2P game are news to some folks here? What year is it? I play the game, I enjoy my time with it, I won't spend any money on it. Simple as that. Just be thankful that Blizzard is even making a proper Diablo 4. They could just focus on immortal and make more money.

Diablo Immortal is not as bad as I feared it would be but there's something I find a bit "off" about the game. For starters., I do not like seeing other players around me as I am playing solo; it looks odd in the same way as it does in MMORPGs where having lots of other people doing the exact same quests as you actually dilutes the experience and the atmosphere. It looks.... odd. Secondly, the interface is just way too big for PC and needs a scaling option. The environments also feel less interesting to explore and less interactive. Finally, the loot drops seem very artificial with also everything you get being better than what you have equipped. While that might sound like a good thing; for me it makes the game seem less random and more contrived. My final gripe is that the controller support is awful, especially after playing Diablo III on PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/Series X. It feels half-baked. And please don't say I should be using a mouse to play this game because sometimes I actually like to sit back and play the game away from the desk and keyboard and chill out with the game on a big screen TV. Also, movement just feels better with a controller and more precise instead of having to point and click with the same button that controls the main attack! In this game, this feels more floaty and less precise than Diablo III anyway, possibly due to it being a mobile game first and a PC game second.

Otherwise, this plays okay and the graphics look pretty good for a mobile game (even on my iPad Pro M1).

Is this coming out on the consoles as well? I think I might just wait for that version instead.

The PC beta is horrible. Tried playing with a controller and the cursor in the menus was sluggish and moved on it's own. Then controlling my guy was the same way, sluggish and sometimes just he would keep moving after I stopped pressing the analog stick. You can't change the resolution either.

Playing on the 2022 IPad Air and having fun so far. It looks nice, great sound, 60fps smooth performance (mostly).
I won't be inserting any quarters but if they sold the game outright I'd buy.

Yeah, it is most certainly a last minute port. So, in terms of performance and bugs, it feels much more like a "let's do this in an attempt to get more money" rather than "we're doing this for PC players cause we want them to experience it as well!" The same one who thought "Lootboxes" were better new content in their online shooter than adding a consistent stream of new maps and modes in Overwatch?
