Yeah this is really old but I just wanted to show how the bonus menues look like. I hope you appreciate it I didn't take a picture of the Epilogue Ending but I promise you it's really worth getting.

No it isn't. The game lost it's steam for me, about 3/4 of the way through the second playing (which isn't bad really), and I had to drag myself to finish it a third time.

Nice enough game, but that thrid playthrough was a bitch.

I thought the second and third playthrough was better than the first
When I replayed it I really experimented with the Magick, doing things I didn't do on my first run.

And I didn't find Mantoroks Alignment the first time through.

I thought the special ending was worth it because he explains what Mantorok was up to all along. Using the Roivas family and all those people just to take out everyone that was threatening him. Plus it hints at a sequel (even if we never will get one).

You should read some Lovecraft before you praise the (real) ending. Although, it is pretty funny how much of a blatant ripoff it is.

I would not recommend playing to get the special ending, it's not worth it at all. I took this game on vacation with me when it came out, but it rained the whole time. This left me with plenty of time to play it, and even though I didn't care for ED, I decided to play for the "final" ending. What a waste of time! The extended playtime only served to reveal the game's many glaring flaws.

That said, you can get through the game quickly the second and third times. I think it only took me 4 hours the last time.

Anyways, my suggestion is to leave Xel'lotaths chapter for last. I love watching his/her cutscenes, and the enemies increase the amount of sanity you lose, so it might make the game more interesting. But if you're not liking it to beat it 3 times, go right ahead and spoil yourself.

I beat it all 3 times back to back to back. It was quite fun.. but I doubt I'll ever play it again.
