Glad that corporations have tokenized my sexuality to the point where glitter and rainbows = gay. Sick of this shit.
The way the industry act, it seems that it's ALWAYS that month...Oh yeah, it's that month...
Honestly I just want authentic representation. Baldur’s Gate 3 is probably the most recent best example of how to do it. You aren’t inundated with superficial elements like rainbow flags or the equivalent. No element of sexuality is hidden away, no demographic is singled out as bad with patronizing “do better” messaging, and LGBT characters are just as capable of being awful people like the rest. Relationships and character motivations are taken seriously. It’s refreshing.Hey, hey, hey! Come on now. If you're gay you like sparkles, if you're black you're poor, if you're muslim you're a victim, if you're a man you're woman.
This is 2024 people! Get with the program!
...as if any gay people aren't fabulous and covered permanently in rainbows.
Lol that’s hilariousThey could have used a bit of effort to make the guns look better like they did back in the day.
endless faggotry

But hey, in lieu of genuine effort, shove a few rainbow and glitter shaders/textures on some items every June and call it a day. No offense to the folks who did what they were asked to at work who made these, I just hate the insincerity.
Yeah, I can understand that. I do think Dragon Age Origins handled the romances better, where certain characters were canonically gay, straight, or whatever. If I’m not mistaken, you also had to be fairly proactive in trying to court someone. All the origin characters in BG3 play into the power fantasy of being player-sexual, though I understand why they did it. In Dragon Age Origins, I know a lot of gay dudes fawned over Alistair and were mad that he wasn’t an option for them.BG3 did it fine, but I feel games like NieR are the gold standard. BG3 I constantly had to deal with certain party members hitting on me and it grew incredibly annoying. I kind of wish I had an option to just "turn off" romances entirely in some games. I find it endlessly more distracting than anything.
At this point there should be a toggle for this when you launch the game.
"I support pride and all this other shite: On/Off"
If you want it on or off it should be our choice instead of having to see endless faggotry all the time when the 99% silent majority don't want it.
