What the bloody hell is going on???

This is the second time I've had crap installed on my computer! For some reason, everytime I start IE (I just use it for email by clicking on MSN Messenger) all this crap pops up. Some Cool2web search thingy, and another bar along the bottom of my screen. At first I though MSN Plus installed all this, but I didn't see all this crap kick in until a few days later. Now suddenly, all this crap like "poker," "travel," and a bunch of other stuff is appearing on my desktop. And for some reason I can't delete these stupid desktop shortcuts because I can't right click them for some reason.

Help GAF!!! :(

In IE:

Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab -> Make sure Enable Third Party Browser Extensions is turned OFF.

Best solution is to format your PC, keep a seperate partition for all of your DATA (mp3's, docs, pr0n, whatever) reinstall your OS and clone the boot drive (Norton Ghost?) so that you can just restore your computer incase this shit happens again.

Good luck! ;)

how about just clicking on them with the left mouse button and then pressing the delete button on your keyboard. or you could even drag and drop it into your recycle bin. Of course removing the shortcuts doesn't help you at all, you realise that right?
