They were together in the second movie( I don't know which number it was in japan) and they were ZZZZZZZZ worthy. More interesting Sora/Tai moments in the movie too.

Only movie they were together in was Diablomon strikes back/Revenge of Diaboromon and they had almost zero screen time together apart from near the very end. Same with Sora/Tai. They had zero screen time until near the end where we see Sora, Tai and Matt in the same scenes.

fun fact: I just watched all the Adventure/Zero Two movies, from Digimon Adventure through Diablomon strikes back. First time watching them in Japanese. They were good but the Hurricane Touchdown/Surpeme Evolution movies make no god damned sense in English or Japanese honestly. Imo, I'd classify those two are "They are so bad, their good" purely because I laughed at them making no sense... a lot.

100% agree. But I would watch Hurricane Touchdown 100 times over and over again because of how pretty it is.

My point is that they're dating and yet you don't see anything interesting between them. Could they develop them? Sure, but they weren't developed very well in the original two seasons + movie while Tai and Sora were.

It's too bad because I like Matt(even though many don't) and Sora but together I don't care about either.

I would totally down for them if they're dead set against Tai/Sora. It just sucks because Sora/Matt is soooo boring.

The characters themselves think so too considering they clearly had have broken up in the 02 epilogue.

The fact we're getting an 03 seems to say the 02 epilogue is no longer canon

Didn't Takeru mention that he had more stories to tell or something like that during the epilogue?

I wouldn't mind there being more internal conflict within the team in Tri. There wasn't too much internal conflict in Zero Two outside of Daisuke/Takeru (which wasn't that much anyway) and Ken/Iori (which was also rather brief).

Nope, just says that Oikawa's spirit is still protecting the Digital World and that they are still having adventures (as adults) that are different from when they were kids. Nothing about more Stories to tell. I'd say it sounds like the Malomyotismon stuff was pretty much their final "world in danger" story.

And because of some inconsistencies in dialogue, I'll check the Japanese version:

While there is dialogue changes (not major ones anyway), there isn't a line that says he still has more stories to tell. Nothing that implies that really so yeah.

Sounds good to me. I'm hoping that if they reveal something nice (the digimons) in this egg, the clicks start coming in faster because people will want to see what is next.

I'd hope clicks come in faster for the final egg purely because it's the final egg. (Which I'm confident it would be since they have focused on nothing but the original 8 for their whole promotion. From the Digimon BD box set, the poster for Tri, the silhouettes, the crests things on their store, etc.)

Hmm, might be true, but if thats the Case, then they missed the Mark. It does feel action-y, but less than the Japanese/German Version because they were missing the Guitarriffs. I'm trying hard to see this without Nostalgia-Goggles, but a more rock-ish Song does convey the Action-feeling better than Rap ( it's the clostest thing i can think of), don't you think so?

It's proabably just as simple as which version the German dub was based on (Digimon being based on the original Japanese version, while Pokemon was based on the English dub).

Heck, even in the group photo both are very distanced.

Well in the JP version, Piyomon/Biyomon said that the other child (the one Sora was speaking to) was the other kids sister so there's that.

So I guess the implication came from that and they didn't feel the need to put in another one liner for it? or they divorced like Yamato's parents did? (which is what some speculate)

edit: Speaking of the epilogue, just saw something that mentioned how everyone but Takeru (who was narrating) and Hikari got a still of them in their jobs. (or in Miyako's case, being at home)

Nice I actually like the remake better! I saved pics of Omegamon and Wargreymon too with the differences, and for those I prefer the originals. Although Omegamon got a really big makeover!

GEM however are just too nice... The stock photos are totally accurate and they are spot on with their paint job. Fine, fine pieces!

As for the movies, I sampled the 1080 Digimon Adventure and the quality is amazing. Tamers movies, yeah those were weird and pretty fanfictiony Movie 1-2 will always be amazing (cause Hosoda = <3) I really need to see Wolf Children, still (and I own it!)

Angewomon and Lady Devimon then I'm guessing that fusion Digimon belongs to that person in the trailer who has both of them. What a weird fusion though, Angel + Fallen Angel digimon.

Speaking of Megas. I hope (if the anime has every chosens mega) they go with Ophanimon rather than Magnadramon/Holydramon for Hikari's Mega. Also Vikemon than the other one for Joe (similar to the game) since it looks like a more natural evolution of Zudomon personally.

Would love to see Herkules-Kabuterimon animated though in the new series as well
