Same here. Never looked at Digimon or Pokemon for that matter, but this looks good. Fantastic visuals for Vita. Fingers crossed for a localization.

I haven't even thought about Digimon in years (watched when I was a kid, played one of the PSX games and thought it was great) but this looks awesome and I will definitely give it a chance if/when it is localized.

Just because they haven't announced anything doesn't mean they won't in the future.
Okay, I'm 4 hours in and half of that time was spent running around and grinding so that I could evolve my monsters. Sadly, devs predicted that and added a "friendship" status which can be increased by giving Digimon food on the farm (crazy expensive at the moment) and replying to their emails. I guess it also rises by having monsters in your team, but the growth is so slow, that guys who I recently added to my party are still at 0%.
I hope that the game will allow for an easy way of rising friendship, because right now my farm is full of monsters which meet all the requirements for evolution other than friendship and it's stopping my collection from getting bigger.
Currently I'm at 29 registered Digimon, not terrible.
And here's my Party. Sadly they take so much memory, that I can't have 4+ monsters on me.
I hope that the game will allow for an easy way of rising friendship, because right now my farm is full of monsters which meet all the requirements for evolution other than friendship and it's stopping my collection from getting bigger.

If the potential localization of DS:CS is even one iota as fucking atrocious as SAO, it can stay in fucking JP lol
The difference is, there isn't an asian english version of CS to be used as a base.

Only one who will localize it is Bandai Namco if they decide to. We won't know anything for a while.

After researching a little bit, I see some of my favorite digimon are in: patamon's line, renamon's line, plotmon's line...why must this game tempt me so.

Growth isnt that slow if you have them actually fighting keeping them as the reserve units while they do gain exp the friendship growth is slow.
That is the "easy" way to raise it which you are looking for.
This most def is not some title that is designed for people to go rushing through.
Effort in / Pay out.

Friendship is the usual stopping point outside of higher than the level cap requirements for ones digimon. Need to look into how to do that. Raise a digimon higher than its level cap that is.

If it works like Dawn, you need to devolve and evolve again to raise the cap.

I think from what Ive seen I think it ups their potential value. For example with the low lv digimon anyways 100% gave them a potential ranking of 2 but a 200% one gave them a 5. Need to look into it in more detail though to be certain.
Ok, what about BlackAgumon/BlackGabumon's evolution lines? I assume the Ultimate Levels are BlackWargreymon/BlackMetalGarurumon but wondering about Adult/Perfect Levels. (side note: I had to correct myself with the terms for a second. I used the english ones by accident before changing them, whoops lol)

If I remember correctly, Clockmon might have a chance to digivolve to Machinedramon, but it depends on the game

mine us at 85 percent but shelved him for now. as needed to work on others. ive seen evolutions that need 60 maybe 80 but time needed to evolve to those isnt a big deal since this game takes way less time than other titles in the genre to get advanced creatures lol
you would have gone crazy with DQ monsters since that game is a massive timesink to make good monsters.

Cool that you can have BlackOmegamon though.
Last couple of games I played, it was usually in like in the BlackAgumon line (or evolved from a Tyranomon line).
It's supposedly in the game though, so not all is lost!

Yeah, all first run copies come with a BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon download.
Can you get them normally in the game, or is it strictly DLC?
