While the tweet is awful (especially in light of the mental illness story that at least I knew nothing about before today), the complete tweet in the context of their conversation reads:'If you cannot take criticism and try to block people you disagree with you can as well quit life. You need to be able to deal with that.' poorly worded but that is what he says.

Once again - the tweet is awful but there was no threat to someones life. There was a blunt tweet about being on twitter as a media personality and accept criticism without going crazy about it. And John/Dark1X really handled the initial fair critique of the DF piece poorly - like really poorly.

Don't like Digital Foundry's list? Then feel free to compile your own.

Find games that have been announced to support 120 fps, cite your sources (with a link to one or more reputable sites), and post them here. There are enough Microsoft and Sony fans here that someone on each "team" will surely keep tabs. In a matter of weeks--maybe even days--you can have a useful resource right here on NeoGAF.

It's a lot more productive than bickering and throwing accusations at Digital Foundry. If the list is reliable enough, perhaps even Digital Foundry or another well-known gaming site will cite a NeoGAF post as the go-to source for that information (which has happened many times in the past).

Don't you think its a bit daft to compile such a list BEFORE both MS and Sony have barely shown anything regarding their next gen content. Such an article would make sense after both manufacturers have put all their cards on the table.

Currently we have a handful of confirmed games for launch and a few titles for 2021 but nowhere near enough technical detail to compile a list of 'ALL PS5 AND XBOX SERIES X GAMES that support 120FPS'

Reality check. For me to hit 120+ FPS on many games with my 2080 TI, I have to drop the resolution down to 1080p.

Yeah, but I don't because 1440p and not ultra. Yet still better settings than this gen or even next to hit that sweet 120 fps or even more. With PC, you can change settings.. shocking!

Completely agree. Deleted all my social media accounts apart from memberships such as GAF a few years ago. Do not regret one second of it.

As a side note: He did not wish death on anyone in the twitter conversation. Still an awful tweet but he did not do that.

No, I think it's perfectly reasonable to start compiling the list right now.

Just because a list is out there, doesn't mean it's set in stone. I'm sure many more games will be added to it in the months ahead, and one or two might even end up being dropped if the developer just can't manage to hit their performance target.

I understand that both system manufacturers haven't put all their cards on the table yet. Despite this, some software developers have chosen to start playing their cards now.

The point is that some people here are bellyaching that Digital Foundry's research is incomplete, or accusing them of using the (current) lopsidedness of the list to promote some ulterior agenda. That's why I said that if any community members have good reason to refute Digital Foundry's research, then they should assemble a more definitive list. Anyone who is truly interested in these technical details would be happy to see all of this data collected in one place.

The fact that they rushed out to make this list thinking that PS5 wasn't going to get many 120fps games but haven't made a video or article about all the PS5 games with ray-tracing is beyond me.

And they haven't updated the list to include Heaven or Call of Duty just because 120fps was mentioned for PS5
