I'm so over Raytracing on current-gen consoles. The effects are so limited and so the end result is so subtle that it just feels like a huge waste of performance just to let the dorks at DF wank all over it.
If you never told me the game had RT shadows and reflections, I would never know and would probably never care. The game still looks two gens old.
I finally checked the update and sadly the game still looks stunning. Like wow.
Playing in fidelity the new reflections are really nice and the 4k sharpness goes great with taa quality. Nice. Looks so much better than pc version. Taa quality alone is ahead of anything available in pc version. Rt features even more so
The input lag for 30fps is quite high since devs have no idea how to do 30fps anymore…
You can help a bit by lowering camera deadzone to 0. It is on max by default and I can’t imagine why. Wtf

30fps is just so... slow. I know its subjective about what people like but its weird to me how when given the option for 60fps, people will opt for 30 instead.
I turned on the ray traced reflections and it felt inconsistent. I could see a clear reflection of myself in some glass surfaces but not in others. Then I turned them off.
All of the multi player dlc in the last two years have been made for solo players in mind. They even made old content playable in solo lobbies. It’s like having a new campaign with cut scenes and all. The difference is you can jump in with a friend if you want.
