Much superior in the context of DLSS/DLAA vs the PS5 checkerboard implementation. This is not really up for debate, in every metric DLSS is just the better AA and upscaling method. Just like PSSR would be over checkerboard rendering.

you will have pro users trying to defend their purchase by saying "yes, you get 1440p 30 FPS, I get 4K PSSR Quality 60 fps but I get much better image quality then you!" extremely horrible oversharpening does not really help the horizon forbidden west. as a baseline, most people got used to it, but with sharpening out of the way, the game finally looks like how it is supposed to look like

In the section he talks about superior image quality it is all about DLAA/DLSS. In the previous section about DOF he clearly says you won't be able to tell a difference or how the LOD upgrades are 'minor'.

Well duh, its the same game so the only things that will differ is frame rate and resolution. Maybe there will be some extra settings here and there, but those rarely make a difference.
you get better quality per pixel due to DLSS. you can, if you want to, effectively get equivalent or better image quality at much lower internal resolutions while also maintaining similar or maybe potentially better performance. even in the video, 1440p dlss performance is competitive with PS5's performance mode in terms of image quality despite ps5's performance mode rendering more pixels. and chances are, you would get very good framerates at 1440p dlss performance with a 2060 super.
PS5 was pegged as being 2070S/2080 in rasterization and 2060S with heavy use of RT.
This is a good port, solid, but it runs well even in the series 2000 graphic cards from NVIDIA.
Plus mods. And I bet this game will have some sweet sweet mods! Been looking forward to this for awhile now, looked great on PS5 and looks even better now. Can't wait to jump in again!
