Not impressed by that at all. Hope we can get some decent gameplay footage at E3. It has potential, but looks like the consoles are starting to limit games too much.

Not really that impressive to be honest (also not as impressive as Prey 2)

And they should have went with id-tech 5 instead.

Remember that RAGE marked the debut of id Tech 5 and as such I doubt it would have been ready for licensing (or rather, since it's Bethesda-exclusive, sharing) at the time Dishonored entered development.

I like the song and the general style. Gives me bioshock vibes, but the actual gameplay part of that left much to be desired. E3 will hopefully show some general uncut playthroughs.

Character design is terrible but I'm still really intrigued by this. Mostly because of the people involved with making this game but also the gameplay looks fun.

That jumping + WOOSH + stomping the ground part tickles my penis

Character design is terrible

the art style in this game is fucking king, it looks exactly like the concept art

I really hope we'll get to see a 15+ minute demo for this next week. It's probably my most anticipated game for the rest of this year.

I watched this three time and I still can't grasp how this plays. Will try to play at E3 if I can. Underwhelmed at the moment.

That shit crisp as fuck on my Panny Plasma

I mean superior crisp, running 60FPS no?

Cause that frame rate was butter fucking smooth

Also love the weapon handling/tossing animations of weapons while you walk, casually

Need some unedited gameplay to judge, but I wasn't really impressed with what was shown. Also they need to up the texture resolution or something, because it has that plastic, washed out look that I absolutely hate.

Can't wait for this. Feels like Bioshock+Half-Life+Thief+Assassins Creed=amazing.

Next gen really needs to get here though, game is beatiful for a console game, but still looks very dated.

If there's one thing Bethesda never does right, it's action. Looks interesting, though....

Game is made by Arkane (creators of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, hence the awesome first person combat in this trailer). Bethesda is just publishing.

This is a game made by the designer of System Shock and the original Deus Ex. I demand you to judge it as great!

And the art director of Half Life 2!

That dude with the Phantom of the Opera mask and sword looked scary.

The shot-after-shot stabbing to the neck and head violence in the trailer kinda ruined it for me, but I suppose the main character is after revenge or something and is not quite right in the head.

this trailer is fucking perfect

evverything about it

the music was fucking awesome

this is going to be the next best game I tell you

finally we get a GOOD NEW IP

and I have to say

PUMP IT INTO MY VEINS

Hence my comment this will look a lot better on PC, which surely is the lead platform.
Hard to define lead platform, I mean if they're working towards PS360 usually console is lead, specifically PS3 because it is hardest to work on. And then the PC port just gets some fringe benefits like AA, v-sync. Last Arkane game had a substantial mod community afaik. Any change the same will happen here? I heard it was Unreal Engine. I'm sure with their heritage they want the PC version to be great, but it doesn't make sense to lead on PC these days.

The music for the trailer is amazing, but the game looks bad. The animations look almost as bad as those in Oblivion.

It seems like stab people: the game. Trailer should've focused on other things. Interesting art design though.

What about the sick-nasty™ jumps, packs of rats, teleportation, using telekinesis to deflect projectiles, and slowing down time?

Reading about the game will show you that there's lots more to this game than stabbing people.

I really like the atmosphere and the "washed out graphics" as someone here put it. For some reason, the characters kind of reminds me of TimeSplitters art. Maybe a bit less cartoony, a bit more detailed, yet still stylistically unique.

Also the designer behind Invisible War. No doubt there's talent behind this, but I'm not confident that talent will shine through the pressure to appeal to the wider audiences a AAA game needs. As we can see with Warren Spector and Brian Reynolds, pedigree ain't everything. Maybe I'm just jaded.

Oh, I get it! Little girls are creepy.

The actual gameplay looks solid. I'm particularly fond of the way they communicate the stealth mechanics to the player. I just wish the setting wasn't destroyed beauty dystopia #4245-a.

Still UE3. In which case, if they're working towards PS360, I imagine the 360 would be the lead (for similar reasons to why it was chosen as the lead for the the Arkham games)

I figured given the personnel who are developing, the lead platform would have been PC. Perhaps this wasn't a valid assumption. Maybe it is a co-lead platform development like DE:HR.

Which games hat such setting? And such unique style?

Only thing we should assume is that the PC version will be fantastic, a different outcome considering the people involved would mean that GAMES ARE DEAD

The art style is stellar, i like it far more than Bioshock Infinite's.
The gameplay looks good, but i hope it's open ended, Deus Ex style.
