Inside out in quality.Been hoding off this - any info on what it's actually about? What it's comparable to in terms of quality - is it more Planes than Nemo?
I loved the movie, it put pixar back at the top of the pedestal for me.. It was also geared towards adults more so than kids, which is surprising to me.
the way you behave on here i'm surprised you don't.I don't watch cartoons anymore
Good point.the way you behave on here i'm surprised you don't.
Hard to say anything without spoilers.Been hoding off this - any info on what it's actually about? What it's comparable to in terms of quality - is it more Planes than Nemo?
It's about finding a purpose in life. With some kind of homage to Spirited Away. It's a good movie. I've watched it with my wife and son.Been hoding off this - any info on what it's actually about? What it's comparable to in terms of quality - is it more Planes than Nemo?
I liked it, it's not on par with Ratatouille and Finding Nemo, though.
For whatever reason, some of Pixar movies feel very "contained", and not necessarily because they are focused on an inner journey or because there's no exploration, I don't know what it is, it's like there's not enough variety or growth or freshness or I don't know... I felt that in Brave, in Finding Dory, in Onward, the Good Dinossaur... and a little in Inside Out.. I felt a little bit of that in this one too.
Wait Moana wasn't Pixar??Moana

I imagine Disney has some general guidelines for their productions re: including some merchandisable characters in each film. Toy Story stars merchandise, for example. I guarantee that's part of the reason why almost every Disney Animation feature has a Cute Animal Sidekick, like Moana's chicken (and the ship of small raiders) and Vanellope in Wreck-it Ralph.Didn’t like it. They should have just stuck to the ‘real world’ setting and look and leave out the cartoony purgatory hijinks as well as the cat sidekick. It’s an adult movie after all; no need to cater to kids. They could have also have a more profound and poignant ending to the movie if they had the courage, however they didn’t have they caved at the final minute of the movie.
Thanks for letting us know that we are ugly lol!The Human Characters are ugly as fuck. I mean, black people have ugly noses, but they could at least had tried to make them appealing to look at in an animated film for kids.

I don't have a family, basically.Why not?
Is this sarcasm, or do you not like the non family cartoons too?I don't have a family, basically.

Inside out in quality.
It will suit kids watching this and any adults as it works on many levels.
From the sound of it, it sounds like souls preexist in this film. I wonder how that is going to harmonize with abortion? Might be subversive."Subverts"
I'm good... I'm kind of done with subversion at this point.
I think we need some subverting of the subversion approach pretty soon here.
