Sure but it's not a new problem- and Trump easily overcame much greater institutional resistance.
Trump also has celebrity and extreme wealth.

if Dems lose the white house i wonder if DWS still has a job
There is literally nothing Hillary can do to win me over.
I conceded the destruction of civilization years ago. She's already won so it's okay.
The Clintons don't want debates, therefore the DNC schedules their debates in a way to prevent any other candidate from getting exposure.
It's a hilariously transparent process. There is no democracy in this country.
Clinton will win the nomination, because she has the money and her power within the party makes the entire primary process a sham.
Hillary had a great showing in the last debate.

Primary processes for both parties have always been a dog and pony show. Primaries are democratic because the parties allow them to be.
Do people not realize that when you vote in a primary you're actually voting for delegate representation? Not the candidate? And the established political norm for those delegates is to represent how their constituencies voted but they don't fucking have to?
You're in a state and your state has 60 delegates, your state's primary goes in favor of Candidate A and those 60 delegates show up at the convention and go, "Hey, our state voted in favor of candidate A so we're going to nominate Candidate A!" But delegates can also go, "Our state voted for Candidate A but fuck that we want Candidate B so we're going to nominate Candidate B!!!"
Which is exactly what the Republican Party is currently wrestling with as the RNC leadership does not Trump as their nominee and the possibility of a brokered convention is continually gaining traction.
She already went through a set of debates like this 8 years ago. I don't get the conspiracy theory of "hiding" these debates.

You voted Bush as well huh?
She really did. Definitely melted some of the frost I had for her, especially her seemingly off the cuff responses.Hillary had a great showing in the last debate.
I'm glad we can finally shed that whole voting thing and just decide elections via early polls and endorsements. She's already won so it's okay.
...
Bernie did great too. He's gotten better at bringing his points home quickly.

I think that's a great challenge for him to have to overcome as a candidate. His domestic message is his greatest strength, definitely, but to have the big job he's got to establish his Commander in Chief vision and temperament just as well. It's really unfortunate for Sanders that the middle east is still a mess. His best bet was his economic message moving forward. With a good chunk of the discussion being the middle east, he is severely hampered.
As someone who thinks Bernie has the most accountable points of any candidate in this cycle, I actually disagree.
He seems more like an activist for his ideas than the one who should be at top promoting them. He can't even justify democratic socialism in a clear way.
I have to admit that I really hate this kind of response. I'm not a Republican and I have ignored the Benghazi hearings but there is still an abundance of things to dislike about Hillary Clinton.
I also think it is all too obvious that she has taken advantage of hysterical and idiotic Republicans so that opposition can be compartmentalized as 'republican fear mongering' and then discarded.
I think we're going to need someone from our generation to accomplish this. Maybe they'll come from California. They haven't produced a progressive presidential candidate since Adlai Stevenson in the 50's, and he wasn't even raised there.
Makes sense. Hillary doesn't want some other candidate to have a meteoric rise in popularity and rob her of the presidency she so badly wants again.
