Do you have a side hustle?

I have a few Amazon affiliate sites. They're relatively new and not well ranked yet, but it's a long term plan to have a portfolio of niche sites earning income.

Dat passive income. Books are good for that too. Easier with Amazon self publishing.

This is more sustainable than adding another job to your schedule.

I test people.

It's good side money, but I'm looking for ways to add on top more passive income that doesn't require me to be actively involved for earnings.

Little bit of motion graphics/design on the side - though in fairness it's a continuation of when I was freelancing before getting a proper job :\

Well, I have a freelancing job editing voices for a video game. Just a few hours per week but it's enough for me.

Developing my photography.
Did one wedding so far, going to make it almost semi regular at some point.

Web design, though it's been a while.
Usually just developed a custom WordPress site.

AirBnB.

Making things

I'm currently developing my YouTube channel.
Though I doubt that will bring home the bacon for at least a couple of years lol.
(If anyone has advice on this it would be helpful!)

My wife does tutoring a few hours a week which is more reliable than any side hustle I do.

I thought a side hustle was a discreet limp.
You're confusing it with a sly shuffle

My wife's side hustle turned into my side hustle turned into our full time business. (Digital marketing and virtual assistance agency).

Now? My side hustle is NBA betting a mix of season long over unders and dfs.

Made about 2200 last two seasons. I could make more but I'm a cowardly bettor.
Where are the VAs located? Are your prices reasonable? I may be interested in hiring for social media/blogging work.

Getting these things to rank may be a bitch, but once that's done I should be doing alright. Need to get a system down. These are my first two, so I'm learning.

My only source of income is side hustle work.

I quit my big corporate job in November and have been wearing shorts and flip flops since. I do websites, flip things, some Online work. Bit of this and bit of that. So far so good!

Working on an ebook now.

Going well so far. Kinda just wander and work a few hours a day.

I was going to start a new thread on a side hustle considering the current economic climate, but why start a new thread when we have a perfectly good one here.

Anyway, I'm looking at a side hustle to earn extra cash, but wondered what side hustles the GAF class of 2022 has?

Many “Whelps”! Handle It!
For several years, I guess between about 2014-2018, I would accept two to three contracts a year for IT work under my one-man corporation. Small contracts - 40-80 hours each billing out around $70/hour with provisions for additional hours if needed (at higher rates). I did that to build up my personal savings while paying off my better half's student loan and credit debt.

I stopped doing this years ago though. Firstly I no longer had a need for the additional revenue stream since I was being paid so much for my day job. Second is I live in area overly saturated with IT contracting companies so the competition became too fierce. My options were finally killed by the pandemic, when like 99% of workers like me moved to fully work from home so competition for individual contracts went from like fix or six candidates to literally dozens.

As I've said before, I've been doing eBay on the side since 1998 and as a second income helping my family since 2014 or so. Just yesterday I sold a hat I bought for $60 for $2,000.

I have... checks notes... 7 income streams.

3 of which anyone can do.

1. Buying rarer / hard to find car parts at scrap and auction then selling them on eBay. This is more of a hobby than anything, I don't need the money. Just enjoy it.
2. Buying flood and fire damaged properties dirt cheap, rennovating and then selling.
3. Buying and selling rare cars...

I work on my main business 2 days a week then leave the rest for my staff to deal with.

Some years ago I started a deburr business with my brother. it lasted an entire year until the company we got jobs from moved to another state, we could have continued but it was hard work although there were benefits like coming and going whenever you wanted. I would turn on the radio in the garage with music in the background and have a beer on the weekends, it was chill.
