Do you say "Reeseas" or "Reese is"

It's "Reese is." I feel like the people who pronounce it "Reesees" are the same type of people who pronounce Pokemon "Po-kee-mon."

Guys, this was all an elaborate scheme to make us go get some Rheese's. I'm leaving now to go get some.

You win this round OP, you win this round.

How else are you supposed to pronounce pokemon????

What the hell is going on here

Hold the phone

Po-kee-mon is just the slowed version of Poke'mon
po-ki-mon

kee ki key

are you saying ki = kai like cuh igh?

I say "Reese is," but I grew up in an area where everybody says "Reeseas." I hate how the latter sounds. There is no reason to pronounce it that way. If Alice owned a tree, would it be "Alice is" tree or "Aliceas" tree?

EDIT:

Wasn't it supposed to rhyme with pieces?

I've heard people say "Reeseas piece-eez."

Reese is. I've never heard it pronounced seas and I have no idea where people are getting that pronunciation from.

I dunno, but if she owned peanut butter cup place it would be aliceas

I say Reese's. People who say Reesey's disgust me.

An example someone might use would be Nestle and Nestle's, but Nestle, alone, is still pronounced "Nest-LEE"(not Nest-ul), so add " 's " to the end and it is "Nest-LEES". Reese, alone isn't pronounced "REE-SEE", but "REES", so adding the " 's " to the end is going to add a soft "ehs" or "ihs"(both are very similar, actually).

I guess a good comparison would be if there was something called Mickey Mouse's Ice Cream. Focusing on the "Mouse's", it is not pronounced "MAUS-SEAS", but "MAUS-is".

Did anyone encounter dumb kids in school who would say "woof" instead of "wolf?" Man i hated those fucking kids.

I actually used to say woof in elementary school, but then I took speech classes to learn how to speak better, and I don't say it that way anymore. My big problem as a kid was that I couldn't pronounce "r" correctly. Instead of saying Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I'd say "Weese's Peanut Buttah Cup".

"Reese is", like normal people do. In my experience, heretics from new England pronounce it "reeseas"

I only know one person who says "Reesees," my dad. He's from Connecticut, I'm in Texas, maybe it's a regional thing?

He also says Reesees Peacees and it drives me crazy.
