I'm definitely don't fall in line with Fox News ideological base, but I've been watching the channel for a long time. These days, it's mostly via their Youtube channel, as I cut cable years ago.

But even as someone who disagrees with most of what they say, it's a very entertaining channel. CNN and MSNBC come off as dry in comparison. Fox kinda accepts their deviancy and it's fun to watch. We've all known they've been GOP homers since they're inception, so I've accepted that, but the audacity of them touting the fair and balanced line is hilarious. Especially how it shows in their programming, such as when they have liberal guests.

Even if the partisan nature annoys you, Shepard Smith is one the better reporters on TV.

So while I don't agree with Fox News, I still find their broadcast the most entertaining to watch, even more so as they've tried to corral Trump to no effect this primary cycle.

It's not something I watch at home but it is on the TV in the lobby at work so I will briefly watch it once and a while. I do wonder what they will talk about once the presidential campaign is over though.

When I was younger I was full in on it.... it was how I was raised but I have not watched it in years and when I see clips I just think "Yep nothing changes no matter what happens"

They are VERY good at what they do.. but boy to they pander to the lowest form of human and looking back I wonder how I at least know why I was pulled into it based on being young and what I was taught as a kid.

For anything breaking news its always entertaining for sure.

There's no better place to watch Presidential Elections than Fox News. This year especially. The Karl Rove meltdowns are legendary to see live, I'm curious as to whether they will have him back after the last election.

Here and there. Interestingly, I think Fox News has dropped their initial "fair and balanced" angle. I heard O'Reilly say from his own mouth that Fox News is fair and balanced because other news channels present the liberal side of the story, so Fox News is "fair and balanced" by providing the other side. I was legit surprised that they seem to have willingly dropped the charade somewhere along the way. And if a channel is upfront about presenting news with a certain slant, that's fine by me. The dishonesty of presenting their perspective as the center was what bothered me most about them. MSNBC's slogan, for instance, is "lean forward". They're pretty upfront about their biases.

I used to watch it all the time with my dad from elementary til high school. I used to keep up with RedEye because Greg Gutfeld is an alright comedian. I don't watch it so much anymore.

MSNBC also starts every morning with 3 hours of conservative commentary. Not knocking on Morning Joe though; it's a pretty good show.

I watch/read a bit of everything here. It is generally difficult to have a proper discussion on a topic without taking the time to understand where everyone is coming from.

When I go out to lunch during the work day the BK and the Duchess in my area always have Fox News on in the background. That’s the only time I ever watch Fox News.

Only on fun election nights.

I was just thinking about this. I started to listen to Rush's show during lunch. Couldn't disagree more with the man on most things but it's entertaining. It's nice that Hannity actually includes liberal guests though usually just as a punching bag. It's more interesting to see their perspective on the Republican primary and what the party is going through currently.

Some shows are OK (Special Report, Greta, Shepard Smith) others are impossible to watch (Hannity, Fox & Friends).

O'Reilly really thinks he's speaking for the "folks". He's so full of it.

P.S.: From the little I've seen, I think the best political show is either MTP Daily or The Last Call. Both on MSNBC. Special Report is also good, but lacks the plurality with the pundits.

I don't go to news for entertainment, so no. There a lot better entertainment out there so why waste time on something so subpar?

NPR for news. Video games, movies and streaming for fictional entertainment.

I watch it for the occasional laugh and/or to fill my liberal camel hump with rage and smug superiority.

Enemy, really?

Well, as others pointed out I wasn't exactly being serious but hell yeeah some of those people are frightening. Glen Beck? Sean Hannity? If that's really how people think in this country I need to know lol. I've had my fill though.

The only personality I really enjoy on the channel is Greg Gutfeld. Not sure if he still comes on. Oh, and Megyn Kelly...for obvious reasons lol.

The Karl Rove meltdown of 2012 was hysterical and the stuff of legends.

Nope. Can't think of a reason to do so, really. I have a friend who is addicted to it though. She has a warped sense of reality because of it as well.

I'm sorry, but this just isn't true.

The Kerry/Bush election and all their coverage was still horseshit back then.
You're probably right but I wasn't watching them then. I watched in maybe 05-07. They were quite tolerable until Glenn Beck and Jeremiah Wright. Back then the only real blow-hard was O'Rilley who was often obnoxious but tolerable. Hannity was at least somewhat balanced by Comes even if Alan was a bit of a moron. Obama's election moved them far in a different sort of direction very quickly. I've not watched the channel for more than an hour since 07 despite being a daily watcher to some degree for the year or two that preceded.

Every now and then for comedic purposes, but then my laughter quickly turns to anger and I have to change the channel. Garbage network.

I can stomach Shepard Smith but Fox News is pretty much on my ignore list. It's a channel filled with infuriating assholes, for infuriating assholes. If I want political entertainment, I'll stick to Neogaf, John Oliver, Daily Show, etc, not an an actual news network that does more harm than good.

Life's too short for that shit.
