It's such a weird time to be alive. I used to love Star Trek, now I have been avoiding the latest one. I used to love The Doctor during the Tennant and Smith eras which was basically my first contact with the IP, but now I have zero interest for the IP. I used to love Star Wars, but Disney have done their darndest to make me lose interest there too. You could think that I have just grown out of them, but I still love watching the ones I loved back then and they still spark that same joy in me. I wish I could hibernate until those franchises get quality writers.

If you read up on why the latest Dr Who shows got such bad ratings, a reason for bad ratings is due to UK people watching on iPlayer. So it messed up apples to apple ratings vs other years.

It's a bad show now full of agenda and their badly written so called science fiction, it will be the same as last year and each episode will get less and less viewers, but Disney is still in charge of this series as well i believe, so it's to be expected.
