Dangun Feveron by M2 has me legit hyped.

Any indication if there'll be a physical release, or is it looking like it'll be download only?

Gematsu says digital title this winter. Nothing on an US release yet. Hoping it comes over, had no idea of this Cave title & it seems this is the first time, after 18 years, it's getting ported to a home console.

Surprising that M2's port isn't coming until end of this year. Hopefully they're still working on Ubusana and we'll see something about that soon

Dangun Feveron is an odd choice. I wonder if it will be comparable in features to the Guwange port on 360? I'm not too big on DFK, so I'll probably pass unless it has the BL and Ketsui content.

Hopefully Feveron being the focus of some M2 money means they're comfortable on PC. I'm in for both on release, of course.

Was it mentioned if Daifukkatsu will have the Black Label version?

I need to go back to the EU 360 version I imported. I've yet to even see the secret boss, let alone deal with Black Label.
I want to witness Black Label Zatsuza for myself one of these days.

Just got an info e-mail on DaiFukkatsu:

Dangun Feveron is my least favorite Cave shooter.

Having said that I'm still getting it on PS4 day one. Even my least favorite of these games is still worth my money.

Daifukkatsu I already own on 360... But Feveron? I'm in.

I think it was a smart 1, 2 punch to have the re-issue of a recent game (that hardcore fans will have imported) and one older catalog title that hasn't been available in awhile (or at all). Gives both Steam newbies and diehard fans something to get excited about.

Yeah, I'm sure it's nice for a lot of people to get Steam releases of the games that already came out on 360, and I'm honestly glad more people will be able to play them. However I already bought all of these games so having another game on the way, on my platform of choice no less is really nice.

Actually I didn't notice Feveron is on PS4.

All the better. Love me Steam but I'd ideally be putting it in my living room anyway. PS4 is perfect.

Plus that precedent. M2 ported Cave games on PS4..... More of those please!!

Dodonpachi DaiFukkatsu is Dodonpachi Resurrection, right? Had that game on Android before they stopped supporting it. The fact that it's coming to Steam is awesome, really want to play it with proper digital controls.

(Crossposting from the original thread)

Kind of surprising, honestly. If you had asked me before this is the DDP I would have figured as least likely to get the first Steam port. I guess the cellphone port maybe gives it some wider international appeal?

But it's a fun game, especially Black Label. Cool arranged OST too! (Example #2) I personally like this game more than the generally beloved DOJ.

It feels like kind of a long wait, but I guess a Cave game every six months or so isn't actually that rushed.

Part of the reason I'm happy this is getting a release on PC because my US account had to use a UK account for Black Label DLC, and that didn't feel like something I was going to be able to manage very easily in the future. Better to keep it all on the One True Platform.

Dangun Feveron has some really fantastic sprite animation.

WOnderful news re: Dangun. Haven't tried DFK yet, but that's great news too, I'm sure (based on what I've seen/heard).

Kinda funny those MS 2D/XBL shennanigans blocked Dangun back in the day- my understanding is that it and DDP were nearly done (if not completely?) and MS denied them. Glad to see it on a console, hopefully MS learns its lesson with this.

Hey, they finally did something with that old Feveron port code. M2 coded that years ago; they were thinking of putting it on mobile or XBLA, but decided against both. Glad they didn't scrap it entirely. PS4 is a great choice.

I already have Daifukkasu on X360, so as usual I'll pass on the (sure-to-be) inferior Steam port.

Whoa, I haven't thought any of the PC ports yet but they're bad/worse?

They're bad ports in the sense that the artificial slowdown isn't 100% accurate to the X360 versions (not that those versions were always accurate to the arcade versions...) but they're not worth skipping on that basis, especially if you've never played any version of the game/s.

Better forgot this false statement, guys, and let's buy this fresh and superior Dodonpachi port. Thanks Degica.

If you console players are butt-hurted from this big wave of ports coming to PC then go ranting on another thread or, more better, ignore our PC releases and buy Feveron on Ps4, without shitting on our Steam gold age.
