Have no clue why he's still being listened to, he's been repeatedly wrong on a LOT of things when it comes to RE.This is the guy that spread all the resi 8 isnt running properly on ps5 nonsense isnt it?

RE7:
Said the Old Lady was called Camilla. Never got any info for this game really correct and didn't know about Eveline or the Old Lady's true role. This was when he first started leaking stuff about RE and got alot wrong as a first time leaker for RE.
RE2 Remake:
Said the Crocodile was cut from the main game and wouldn't appear. Turned out to be wrong. Capcom did confirm they had cut the Crocodile, put it back in, cut it again then put it back in again. But still, Dusk was adamant that the Croc was not returning in the final version of the game. Didn't really spoil/leak much about RE2 Remake at all.
RE3 Remake:
Said the game was open-world like. That you could use the Subway to travel to other locations and do side missions and stuff. That the game was pretty big. All turned out to be Bullshit. Said he's source for this was the one at fault. I don't see how one can fuck up what this game was from the get-go. Just saying shit to save himself at this point.
RE8:
January 2020. Said the game was YEARS AWAY. Literally a Week later, a random leaker spoils the entire game to Biohazard Declassified. They reveal the Title, that Chris and Ethan are the returning playable characters, that the main enemies are Lycans, that it takes place in a snowy environment and that the game would release in 2021. Remember, Dusk said RE8 was YEARS AWAY and a random leaker basically made him look like an idiot.
Fast forward to about a few weeks before the game's reveal and Dusk STEALS the leaker's info for his own and repeats the same shit we already heard to act like he is 100% right when the game is finally revealed in June 2020.
After the initial reveal he says that Lady D is Alex Wesker and that the Hammer Guy Heisenberg is Daniel from RE: Resistance the RE3 Multiplayer. He says a few other things and all turn out to be bullshit.
Capcom Leaks:
Capcom leaks reveal RE:Outrage for 2021, RE4 Remake for 2022., RE:Apocalypse for 2023 and RE:Hank for 2024. Apocalypse is supposedly the codename for RE9 and RE:Hank is actually RE:HUNK.
Outrage never releases, never revealed. Dusk says it was actually Revelations 3. However he also said RE8 was Revelations 3 and it was meant to be a side-game. Documentary for RE8 reveals this wasn't the case. RE8 was always intended as the next sequel to RE7. Not a spin-off.
Another Leaker on twitter came forward and revealed Outrage was actually a Rebecca Chambers game set in an infected University about a Rage Virus. Dusk later tried to say this was a sequel to Revelations 2 starring both Rebecca and Natalia/Alex. This turned out to be bullshit too because Andi from Screenfire Germany later came out and revealed Outrage was a cancelled Multiplayer game starring Albert Wesker, set between the events of Code Veronica and RE4. Dusk would later say the same thing and said yet again that he got SOURCES MIXED UP.
PS VS XBOX:
Dusk went onto lie and make claims that there would be no PS4 version of RE8 because the game was reported to not be possible on PS hardware and that the PS5 version was struggling to run the game whilst the Xbox version was the superior one to get and play. Some people did some digging into this report and found out Dusk was lying and Dusk later ADMITTED HE LIED about the whole thing in order to make Microsoft look good or something because he had a hate boner for Sony for some reason. It was rumoured he was banned as a Mod from a forum site he frequents because of this.
RE9:
He spend the next few years posting random stuff about RE9 that never panned out. After RE8s release he said how RE8 was Revelations 3 and a spin-off game. Later however he posted saying that RE7, RE8 and RE9 were all planned out as a trilogy. How can RE8 have been part of a trilogy if it was originally Revelations 3? Do you notice the inconsistencies and contradictions here?
(EDIT: Forgot to mention, he later at one point said RE Village was RE9 and that RE9 was originally RE8 but the development swapped around. Again, if RE7-RE9 was planned out as a trilogy, how the fuck would this have been possible if RE8 was supposedly multiple different games?)
He went on to say that RE9 would be the final RE numbered title and star Chris, JILL, Claire and Leon and that the game would wrap up their stories. The original JILL BEING IN RE9 RUMOURS came from him. He then later changed his story again and said that Jill might be in RE9 or Revelations 3.
2023:
Towards the end of 2023 he would start posting that RE9 would feature Leon on an island in the south East Asia sea and that the rumours about there being Wendigos or it being tied to supernatural stuff or whatever was BS. However, before RE9s actual reveal in 2025, he later posted that the game would have ties to witch like elements and stuff after dismissing such things as BS back in 2023 and in 2024. So which is it? No Witch like elements or there are?
2024:
A 4chan post leaked about a Code Veronica Remake happening in early 2024. Dusk said it was BS and that there was no Remake of Code Veronica happening and that Capcom I repeat, WEREN'T MAKING ANY REMAKES.
Cue Andi from Screenfire who said in one of this videos around then that Capcom were indeed making a RE0 and Code Veronica Remake.
A few weeks later Dusk posted some leaks saying that Capcom were indeed making a RE0 and Code Veronica Remake yet every news outlet used his posts as facts and not the ones reported by Andi. Dusk took the credit. He would later post again saying Capcom were working on FIVE RE Games currently. RE9, RE0R, CVR and two others that were NOT RE1 or RE5 Remake. To this day he still hasn't said what those two other RE games are.
Cue more info from Andi revealing more details about RE9s early version, how Jill was indeed in the game but later cut then put back in after Dusk kept repeating to replies that Jill was NOT in the final version of RE9. Andi would also reveal that the original RE9 was a multiplayer/co-op game set on an island. Dusk at this point kept still insisting RE9 was a single player game and was dismissing Andi's reports.
LutuxFix Rumours:
Around April/May 2024, a random Reddit user who supposedly was a play tester for RE8 back in the day and posted legit stuff on twitter back in the day was back and leaking RE9 stuff. His posts said the game TOOK PLACE IN A ABANDONED HOSPITAL WITH A GIANT LIKE ENEMY STALKER CHASING THE PLAYER. Now in his version, the playable character was Jill in radio contact with Chris as her Guide and the hospital potentially being located in Russian and it being an abandoned BSAA Facility with connections to Alex Wesker and Hunters and Zombie like enemies appearing in it and the Giant Stalker being a goat like creature.
Around this time you had other so-called Leakers show up on twitter posting that they did play tests supposedly with Leon on an island with zombie/gando like enemies and Barry Burton supposedly being Leon's radio contact.
Dusk never really said anything about the Leon stuff but for Lutux he said it was all bullshit. Remember, the random ass Leaker on Reddit who said RE9 featured a Hospital setting with a large Stalker creature chasing the player who was supposedly Jill was said to be BS by Dusk. If Dusk actually knew any RE9 info at this post, surely he could have easily revealed that there was in fact a Hospital setting and giant creature?
Lutux's info was clearly BS and YET...he got the Hospital Environment and Giant Stalker enemy concept of it right. And there are users on twitter who have come forward and said that Lutux did indeed post accurate RE8 Playtesting back in the day. How could someone be so wrong about this? Unless this was a specific play test modelled differently to stop spoilers from leaking out or perhaps a different RE title perhaps?
2025:
Dusk continued to say the Lutux leaks were BS. There was no Hospital setting or giant stalker enemy. And he kept insisting that the game as a single player game starring Leon set on an Island.
About 2 weeks maybe 3 before RE9s official reveal, Dusk changed his story and said that Andi was right and legit about the previous leaks he posted about RE9 originally being a Multiplayer game and that RE9 would feature Leon as a main character and a new playable character. He even teased the game's title a day or so before the official reveal. He got that part right at least but it seemed to be a last minute thing.
He got it right that the game featured a new playable character and the title BUT...he didn't get right that the game would go back to Raccoon City or that it featured a abandoned Hospital with a giant stalker enemy, something Lutux got right back in the middle of 2024. Also keep in mind this guy is still insisting his playtests with Jill was accurate and he insists the RE9 hospital area is the very same from his playtest but with story changes. Surely a Troll at this point would just admit they lied no?
Dusk meanwhile is still spewing that Leon is a Main character in this and that RE9 is still the final numbered title and that this will be Leon's final game.
Recently he's posted that the Hag is a mutated Alyssa and that the creature gets burned by light. This info was confirmed true by a IGN Video, the light part anyway. The Alyssa spoiler hasn't been confirmed yet but he says it's something revealed very early on.
He also says the Hooded Man is not Nicohlai from RE3 after having spend a good day doing a whole theory posts on how the Hooded Man might be Nicohlai a few weeks after RE9s reveal.
It seems if he has legit sources, he gets them very, very, very late, meaning he doesn't really know much about the game as a whole and only tad pieces here and there.
Some people on here have said that Dusk and Andi's RE source is possibly one and the same. But Andi doesn't go about making a number of theory posts or videos that turn out to be false and only reveals very specific spoilers and leaks.
Dusk has also admitted a while back that he gets his leaks from other Leakers online who may or may not always be accurate and does bend the truth a bit here and there which isn't surprising considering this is the same guy who made false statements regarding the PS versions of RE8 back in the day.
I'm sure there's more but so far, Dusk has proven time and time again to not always get things right with RE and constantly contradicting himself. There's a video by Project Wesker who spend a good time collecting alot of Dusk's false leaks and reports and pointing out his lies and contradictions on other stuff as well.
Dusk is not a reliable source. At best he gets one thing right and a dozen things wrong. Its all a waiting game essentially to see what sticks and what doesn't with him.
