I currently use one big table in my office room at home with 2 monitors. left one for private use attached to my private laptop, right ultra wide screen attached to my work laptop. However I keep reading that is is better to have a separate table for work related stuff.

Just wondering how your wfh setup looks like. I have to admit I kinda hate now playing after work at my desk... I used to love it before working full time.

I swap out laptops for now. Eventually I will trade in my MacBook Pro for an iMac Pro. With how versatile my iPad is, it is my defect on-the-go computing machine.

Even then, I refuse to have 2 desks. It's just too much space to give up.

Laptop swapping here. I have one desk set up in my back bedroom with a rather lovely view of the gardens behind my flat, so wouldn’t want to have another desk anywhere!

I have a KVM Switch and have my work laptop docked and connected to my monitor's HDMI port. My personal (gaming) PC is under the desk and it's connected to the Display Port on the monitor. (It's a G-Sync gaming monitor.) But with the Switch, keyboard and mouse are shared between both personal and work computers.

Cable management is important to me so I try to keep all that shit neat and tucked away.

Gaming desktop under the desk, work laptop on top. Both are connected to this USB switch (USB Switch Selector,ABLEWE KVM Switcher 4-Port USB 2.0) so my keyboard, mouse, and headphones switch automatically to whichever one is on.

I have my main huge desk for my gaming PC and two monitors (had 3 but it was more than I felt I needed so I removed one).. I have a second desk for my studio laptop on the right side of the room next to my drum set and amps for recording, and then a third desk around the corner by the door for my sons gaming PC..

my mancave room is quite large, it's overtop of my two car garage and is roughly the same size so this all fits comfortably.

Good that you're working on your Cam4 portfolio.

But I get the OP where work is "tainting" your space that you used to enjoyed. I don't do PC gaming and fap on my iPad so my office is associated with work exclusively.

I built a separate house dwelling for my home office, sometimes game on that main work PC. I do run a large L shaped desk though and dual monitors. I used to run quad monitors but found myself way less focused on productive work. My gaming is in the "main house" with Series X, have a gaming setup downstairs. Kids have an upstairs living room/X1X to share. We have a spare room but the misses won't let me kit it out for the kids to stream/game as they get older. Soon though, they're still young-ish for all that.
