Does WWE think we have the memory of a goldfish?

Matt Morgan just F5'd Big Show through a table and the Cole and Tazz were like "WE'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE MANHANDLETHE BIG SHOW LIKE THAT EVER BEFORE!"

Do they think we don't remember Brock Lesnar at all?

I was so tempted to respond with "Who?" just to make a point, too.

The answer is yes and no...I think commentators and managers are exempt from logical continuity. Like, if Paul Heyman had started hyping up that F5, even though he actually MANAGED Brock, I totally wouldn't have minded, because it would just be Heyman flipping out. If Flair did the same thing, I'd understand too. It's when they start ignoring entire past storylines rather than simply being hyperbolically contradictory that I get angry.

it's been pretty obvious to me for over decade that continuity hasn't mattered at all...

Bob Sparkplug Thurman Sparky Plugg Holly

John Justin Hawk Bradshaw Layfield

and thats just simple shit like NAMES...

wh about the black/white/pink/camo hummer driver!?

No it's actually the writers.. they have no long term memory... none... that's why the reuse storylines... they have no idea they've actually used them before...

It probably is a rib at Brock. I am sure when he doesn't stick to a team this year will be back in the WWE.

I'm not gonna quote what you said Tuvok, I'm just gonna say one thing. Mods are wrestling fans. And usually someone comes in, says a quick joke regarding fakeness/gayness and get banned. I'd edit quick.

Hah, that reminds me when Lesnar superplexed Show and the entire ring fell apart...sure, it was rigged, but damn if it didn't look awesome as hell.

That's why I stopped watching, it just became insulting to my intelligence at one point.

As an example, remember when Steve Austin had the bone spurs in his neck and they did the whole getting hit by a car angle to give him time off? And then not two weeks later Jim Ross did an interview with him about he had injured his neck in the ring and needed time off to recover? :|

Is he wearing a Stormtrooper helmet? :lol
Yes, a glitter covered Stormtrooper helmet. And during his big debut he tripped, fell through a wall, and the helmet came off all on live TV. Looks like that pic was taken right after he got back up and put it back on, trying to save some dignity.

I don't mind it so much. I mean generally speaking there is some 20 years of history, I can understand them not managing to connect it too often.. Though sometimes their flaws in history are a pain in the ass. I mean wasn't Show using the F-5 a few months ago?

What I don't like is when they have complete and utter jumps in logic. This week Raw for example. Bastista basically beats Triple H two times back to back pretty damn fair. He has pretty much man-handed Triple H since the feud started. He enters the Gold Rush tournment and gets eliminated in the first round. He takes a vacation for 2-1/2 weeks. And somehow he deserves to be number 1 contender? Not only that but he himself decides for it to be in HiAC. Which is just weird because Triple H was usually written to be afraid of the HiAC.. like when fought Nash and Foley.. forget HBK's match with him...

I just don't get it

Hey fellas, what's up?

BTW Penguin, even though Triple H has been portrayed as afraid of HiaC, isn't he undefeated in HiaC matches? Maybe WWE thinks that we would realize this and that's why Trip...nah, nevermind. That's too complex for WWE.

Kane they fucked that up that character so much

You know, when they explained away the burns Kane was supposed to have as psychological burns, I was pretty damn surprised. I thought it was a great explanation...then he proceeded to light JR on fire and it's been downhill ever since.

But first they tried to put on some makeup that came right off during any kind of battle.

That was his normal makeup that smeared all over his face. He always wore black in the visible parts around his eyeholes where his skin was showing around his eyes.
