jediyoshi said:No. You can rebind the shake you use for spinning to a button. There's only the bird flying and ball rolling instances that would need some extra configuring but it's doable.

Uhh, that would just increase the speed of the game by 20%. One of my PAL games (A Shadow's Tale) used to be stuck at 25 fps but I got it to run at 30 by enabling progressive scan in the configure menu, maybe you could try that for Xenoblade.georaldc said:For those wanting to get over the 25fps limitation of xenoblade in Dolphin, try this out and see if it helps:
"To run the game in 30fps, under framelimit select 60 and untick "Limit by FPS". Then under DSP settings, untick "Enable Audio Throttle" choose "DSP HLE Emulation" to keep the music and sound in sync and prevent any cracking sounds."
Caelus said:What good is an Intel graphics card with Dolphin?
Now that you mention that, I tried enabling progressive scan and well, it was still stuck at 25fps. Yeah it may just increase the speed but at least it isn't as choppy as before anymorenincompoop said:Uhh, that would just increase the speed of the game by 20%. FallingEdge said:Graphic wise, the game runs wonderfully for me. Minor sound issues but the big deal for me is that every 15 minutes, dolphin crashes. "Dolphin.exe has to shut down" blah blah blah. I will try a different build/configuration and see if that gets fixed.

Diseased Yak said:Ok, so I just started messing with Dolphin and I'm confused by something:
If I want to use the Xbox controller (usb) to emulate a Classic Controller plugged into a wiimote, is that even possible or should I just configure my emulated wiimote by mapping the Xbox buttons?
Motionjoy drivers do conflict with it. You'll either have to completely uninstall them, buy a second bluetooth dongle, or use your PS3 controller (which also works fine by the way).epmode said:So I picked up a bluetooth dongle thing for eventual use with Dolphin but the stupid thing won't install properly. I'm pretty sure it's conflicting with MotioninJoy drivers for a PS3 controller but I just can't figure out how to get it working. Any advice?

Towards the right side, kind of towards the bottom there's a box that says "Extension". Click "Classic" from the drop down menu, then click "Configure" underneath that. Set up your 360 controller now as if it were a Classic Pro from that new menu. Enjoy!
-The end result should be the same(barring you don't get a virus from torrents), you own the game but you have a digital version of it's Disc files to use with Emulation.Corky said:Out of curiosity and totally hypothetically & ethically speaking.
What are your/gafs views on :
- Buying a gc/wii title -> ripping it yourself -> ...
- Buying a gc/wii title -> downloading the "rip" from some torrentsite ->...
?
( I sold off my gc and wii some time ago and I have not ventured in dolphin territory so I have no personal opinion as of yet )

Not many people have the DVD Drives that can read and correctly RIP the games anyway...
Basically, No one will crucify you if you bought a game and downloaded it instead of ripping it.
You need the Wii to rip the discs IIRC.Corky said:Thanks guys, sold off my wii so making a list of things I need to buy, would be nice if I could stretch it as far as possible without buying a wiimote + sensor/bluetooth etc.
From a ethical point it may not matter, but it can be illegal and it is bannable to admit to downloading games on GAF.Corky said:Ah interesting. I see...
I've never, as mentioned, tried anykind of emulation before and a lot of it seems like a gray zone.

Cuban Legend said:(Though I don't know if things change when you say you no longer own a Wii or GCN, since you need a Wii to rip Wii games & may need some inner console files in some cases to get Emulation working)
But yea that's all ethically speaking.
Real Talk though: admitting to downloading games on GAF can/will lead to a ban.
It depends on the game. Likely it would run too fast. It could also mess up some synchronization leading to it not running at all or to sound/music problems.Corky said:On another note, technically speaking, what happens when you run an emulated wii/gc that was specifically designed to run at 30fps, at 60fps? Will things glitch out? Will the game play like it's fastforwarding? Will nothing happen at all? Or will it simply be like pc and the game feels much smoother?
